We all complained when they changed the original layout to version 2 but we got used to it. Mainly because the current layouts were insanely customizable. But this new youtube layout is so...corporate. I guess they want all profiles to look uniform? But seriously? Isn't YouTube supposed to be about self-expression. I wouldn't mind the switch if their definition of 'customizable' wasn't just "choose from 4 templates and change background omgg!".

Everyone gets the change March 7th. I just changed 5 mins ago. Can't see my channel comments. Cant hide my last log in. Can't see full channel description even on drop down. Lately can't reply to P.M's (Or can others) Friends gone ! History gone ! Oh & sign up to a Gmail just to keep channels going. Plus Y.T did this On 2/9/2012, we deleted subscriptions from all inactive YouTube accounts. If any of your subscriptions were removed in this process, they are attributed to the Geography. BS

Its not the worst but the old one is better. My biggest complaint about the new layout is that you cant play the videos in your playlist right on your profile. It takes you to the videos page. =/ They should fix that.
I agree, the new design is shit. You can't do anything with it. All channels will end up looking exactly the same. People like to advertise their channel of the more popular sites by leaving a comment that would be seen by others and you can't see the comments on the new look. I used to find decent sites by reading someones channel comments! I've still got the old look, as it lets you switch to the old design at the moment, but if it's being imposed in March 12 I will be mightily p'd off!

I don't like the new layout because you can only change the background and not the colour of the actual channel and the text.What I mean is,you can change your channel colours to match the picture you use for your background but with the new layout it looks crap because the channel stays black and white and won't match your background.
