  • How does a dove hair care commercial fit a motorcycle video demographic?

  • The lack of answers actually says a lot about the Street Triple reliabilty;) I'm going with the Monster 796. Anyway, thanks!

  • People, I'd appreciate some opinions about possible reliability problems with the Street Triple. Mainly timing chain tensioner problems, oil leakage in the head gasket, coolant leakage in the radiator hoses and faulty electronics. Thanks a lot.

  • Honda, Yamaha, and Kawaski all make streetfighters..... But this bike still has the "Triumph" look, which no one else can top.

  • And once again, they've done it again.

  • I can't wait till spring, taker her to the track. Very fun bike, gotta love the freedom of riding.

  • I`m planning to get one next year. Can`t wait!

  • @paolo27th You'll never buy a better bike I can tell you.

  • The Street Triple was my first bike! I bought it new and had to wait 6 Months....and I must say I did the best choice! But to all beginners: NEVER underestimate the power of the 3 Zylinders!

    cheers

  • its best to work your way up, but my son rode my street triple ok , good for some not for others you will know ,have a test ride if you can.

  • is this bike good for a beginner ?

  • best beginner bike is ninja 250r,this mayb a bit too powerful for beginners

  • no its not idiot.

you definitely don't want a zzr3250 as a beginner bike. They're nowhere maneuverable enough, and noone should get a faired bike as a first.

  • DON KNOW but every1 says its best beginner bike

  • clearly not everyone.

  • yes, what would you reccomend as a beginner bike

  • vtr 250. for a road bike. Light, nimble, uncomplicated. But good looking at the same time.

But any 250 dirt bike you can make into a motard will go really well as a learner bike.

ZZr has problems related to the steering travel fro learners.

  • THNX :D

  • @synkronyk

Could you expand on the steering problems with the ZZR? I am about to buy one and would like to know...

  • I'd start with a Kawasaki ZXR 400. It's not that expensive and it's also powerful (400ccm and 68HP !) . For a beginner it would be very good.

  • take in account you might fall! Do you want to fall with a new bike? It's not the question IF you're going to fall, but when! This kept in mind, it is a good beginners bike! It was my first bike.

  • i like it...wow

  • ada bagian yg terlihat "kopong" diatas swing arm/mono schock

  • speed triple beats out the superduke everytime during a bike test shootout ...

  • Such a BEAUTIFUL motorcycle.

    My God....

  • I wouldn't sell under normal circumstances but I'm in my early 60's and am thinking towards something a whole lot lighter and a bit more upright. Blackbird is still the best bike I've owned in 40+ years. I have an emotional attachment to Triumphs from my student days a lifetime ago :-).

  • Speed Triple is worth looking at as well. The Street is light and fast, but compared to your BB it'll feel gutless.

  • Tried it 2 days ago! I'm a shortarse and it's a touch too tall. The Street ergonomics are PERFECT for my build. I live on one of the best bike roads in the north island (250 km of twisties) and I reckon a Street Triple will outgun the 'bird on those roads.

  • I'd take the bird. I live in Montana and it's an hour's ride on stick-straight highways to the nearest twisties. :[

  • too bad that youre always afraid from it having an enginge failure while driving them :(

  • Simply lovely! I'm in the process of getting rid of my Blackbird after 8 years and getting one

  • Awh no man!

    Blackbirds are beautiful machines.

    Then again.. So are these.

  • sportys are fun, but take a street triple for a ride and you may never go back...

  • Triumphs are only for those who are passionate, and not in the harley fashion like everyone else. One stop at ''TEAM TRIUMPH OF WISCONSIN'' and you will be wanting to happily sign over every paycheck.

  • I ride a Sportster, and I heartily disagree with your statement. I have tremendous respect for Triumph, and my next bike very well may be one. But not everyone who rides a Harley is some lame ass Doctor or Dentist or mid life crisis dude. One of the reasons I picked the bike I did is that the Bonneville was more expensive and there were fewer dealerships. Now that I'm craving more speed I'm probably gonna have to move up to a Street Triple or a Kawasaki ER6N.

  • There are 2 different types of naked-bike-rider:

    Those who buy a GSR 600, Hornet 600, Bandit 600, Fazer 6, Kawasaki Z 750...

OR THOSE WHO BUY A STREET TRIPLE!!!!

  • There is also the type who is happy to ride any bike, but just with no clothes on!

  • LOL

  • and then there are the men who buy superdukes.

  • then the men buy superdukes.

  • I'll have mine in a flashy metallic green.

  • why do have all triumphs this "weeeeeooow" sound along the engines "vrooom"?

    i really dislike it :/

even though i love triumphs bikes!

    gotta listen to that irl

  • its a inline 3 cyl engine, not a inline 4 cyl like all jap 600's

it sounds very similar to a porsche 911 gt3.

    a good review

  • That "weeeeeooww" sound are the headcams that createfriction, my dads V-Rod has it too :C

  • Thanks for the small preview! Clips like these opt me to buy this bike. I'll be getting the R for a little bit more but worth it.

  • I cream myself over this bike...

  • Just got mine a week ago and this is a truly awesome bike

  • Thank god a decent test without wheelies every 2 seconds....we know you can wheelie...your a test rider. I can look up stunt videos if i want to see wheelies.

  • Yes the best..... i hope ...... it's will my..

  • mine 2 :) coming season

  • I ride a vfr400 NC30 and my next bike will be a 748 or a speed triple, ahh, such a hard choice, either way i have single sided swingarm madness

  • I will get my street triple in march 2009. In holland it's hard to get the street triple until January 2009.

  • Had mine a few days now and speaking with the experience of owning many bikes over the past 31 years I can say this is the greatest road bike I have ever ridden !!!

  • Do they sell those in America 'cuz i cant find one anywhere are they just british motorcycles??

  • Triumph reduced the number of them coming to the US. I heard 2008's were all sold, and now are taking deposits for 2009's.

  • yeah, they sell them here.

  • Great test guys. Love your videos. Keep up with the great job!

What a bike, it will come to Brazil only in Dec. I'm having mine reserved already

  • the best!

  • wheelies for fun!!

  • Nice bike. I just had to sell my Yamaha XT660 R.

My next bike will probably be the Street Triple.

  • just put a set of IXIL exhausts on my street.Go to triumph street triple with ixil exhuast fly by. Enjoy

  • I was checking one out at the dealership on the weekend. I don't like the fake looking chrome on the heel plates or the cheap looking plastic radiator surround. Also feels like it would be a little small for someone over 6"

  • Have put 1000 miles on mine in 2 weeks and i love it. It has a lot of mixed qualities, agility and handeling like drz400sm, lots of power like a mini GSXR, but you have to keep it under 90 or you will get sucked off the bike. Overall its a very good bike.

  • In 2004 I bought a Thruxton and did a test drive on the Streety... guess what happened, I ordered it and can't wait for it... it's one of the best bikes I ever had under my ass... (do not compare it with bikes that have 170 HP's or so) it's just the best solution between sport, fun and for daily use...

  • I own a black ST, with a full arrow exhaust system. I just put my first 500 miles on this week and it is pure extacy at 10-13K rpms.

This bike should could some with a addiction warning.

  • I bought the bike as well here in Madrid, I will have it in June but Could kill to have it now!!!

  • I ordered my black street triple in December and should be getting it in May. I phoned the factory and they told me it's the third black one to be built in May. So still a while to wait and time is still going sooo slowly.

  • Awesome bike taken one for a test ride and placed my order 1 month ago in Australia. Unfortunately I think it may be a 6 month wait. Ohhh the pain. First step off trail bike onto road bike and it felt real comfortable.

  • Don't you think its too slim?

  • agree.. daytona (got it) is ok, but thats the limit... it doesnt seem masculin enough to me.. nice bike for a woman...

  • belive me it is not for womens i got one and its very fast and agile. if you dont know what are ou talking about SHUT UP!

  • Im lucky enough to have a street as my first bike. Ive been waiting for it for 6 months- comes in 2 weeks! Its killing me not having it now!

  • Lucky you!! I have ordered mine and have to wait till Oct 08... Boo hoo

Anyway bought a Gixer 750 for the wait lol

  • the perfect naked bike.

  • right! B-)

  • Nice bike

    Una moto preciosa

  • Excellent test. It makes me actually want a Street Triple for my first bike.

  • ME too !

  • Yeah Fuck Trimpuh???

What exactly is one of those?

What a weird comment kid!? What do you have against Britain and what makes you so loyal to the Japanese (they made your gixxer).

    BTW its spelt 'Triumph'

  • This "rearendslider" fag doesnt know shit about motorcycles.

Besides, the fucking queer has Jewel videos in his favorites.

Hell run his mouth to the wrong person someday and get his larynx crushed, dont worry about that.

  • maybe not riding a bike is just about who is faster, triumph built the daytona 675 for that, which would embaras your common as muck gixxer

  • statisticaly the 675 should be better comes down to the rider a lot, im not particularly biased towards them either since I ride a zx6r

  • Then WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STICKING UP FOR THE 675? Its kinda stupid... Its not a much faster bike than new 600's. BUT it does have personality. And a great sounding engine. Its just reliability erks me..

  • because i admit it to being a greater bike im not biased but yeah realiability is shit and the fuel consumption is worse than a 1000

  • I heard the daytona 675 consumes alot of oil, is it the same for the street triple? Both bikes are awesome either way. I still love the speed triple though.

  • the street triple has revised cams which are suppose to heavily reduce oil consumption.

  • 106 HP from a 675 CC engine is very cool.

  • I'd love a 675 Tiger...

  • whosoever is out there type in ZARD Triumph Street Triple and just listen to the sound it is the absolute Dogs Danglelies!! I will be putting my order in for them!

  • Great bike.Too bad that China has a 88% impost of moto bikes. :(

  • that means what?

  • I think he means that in China there is an 88% import tax on bikes.

    Similar thing in Thailand.

  • holy sh.... very expensive!

  • yes

  • Thats sucks.

  • It has Bridgestones fitted, 1:04 into the clip you can see them!

  • you are indeed correct, but all the street triples in this country I have been informed are fitted with Dunlop qualifiers. Had mine 2 days now can't fault it, can' wait to get rid of the 1st 1000 miles then play time.

  • How come that bike has Bridgestone tyres, mine has Dunlop Qualifiers?

  • they have got it wrong on the video! They are all fitted with Dunlop Qualifiers.

  • great video. Shame that Triumph a British firm places the overseas market as more important than their home market. The Italians have been playing with theirs all summer,us poor Brits are looking at our first rides in the snow! Not good enough PR Triumph!

  • i just bought a 07 GSX-R750 about 4 months ago and at the time i was between it and the Daytona 675. right now tho, i'd love to test the street triple and i wouldn't be surprised at all if i wanted to sell my bike for the street triple. i was very impressed with the Daytona 675.

  • I ordered mine in the begining of August andI am still waiting. I have been told next week (end of October) I cant'wait.

  • Like you I ordered mine in August and was told my delivery would be Oct6th. NO CHANCE! Now been promised that I will definately get it in October. If I dont then I will be asking for a free Belly pan, as they have already sold my traded in bike!

  • I think that's pretty silly to ask for free crap if it doesn't show on time. Dealers don't decide when these bikes get delivered, they are at the mercy of Triumph just like you. Just my two cents, sorry if you don't like it...

  • I can not understand you calling genuine triumph spares free crap.Dealers at the end of the day are in business, they made more than enough profit on my 0ld bike and I have been without my wheels for 2 months now. These dealers are acting on behalf of Triumph so they are not blameless. Anyhow I pick my Triple up on Tuesday. So lets hope it ain't snowing.Happy riding!

  • I pick mine up tommorow

  • Ordered mine almost a month ago, still waiting and it doesn't seem the wait will be over soon.

I chose the white one with flyscreen and bellypan, i love the looks of it

  • Great test. This is the bike of my dream !

  • Good video of a fantastic bike, I can't wait for mine to turn up!

  • Just ordered mine. Anyone after 1 better get in quick. The waiting list is backing up. Triumph HARD
