@classicpiano123 I'm not sure what accounts for the chaotic state of US inner cities and the ugly decline of African nations since whites left and blacks came to power. And let's not forget Haiti! They all share cultural attributes. However, I still refuse to believe that these dismal results are biologically predetermined because of race. Maybe it's because these cultures never developed high-level organizational discipline. Sadly, independence and freedom seems to result in catastrophe.

Several countries went through politically chaotic periods after centralized govt's exit but only certain countries/social groups are going through social chaos. But our problem as a race is that we've never cultivated honor and accountability the way other races have. Because the thinking and behaviors we developed during slavery are still with us. Yes there are plenty of criminals of all races. But it's a per capita problem. Too many of us choose to live outside the law. And it's actually an insult to say that whites compel us to crime. If some one murders some 1 else and you say that person is responsible for the person they killed death, then to me the proper phrase to me is holding them accountable for what they did. Of course the person who did the killing is going to deny it and say you are "blaming him/her" for some one's deatth.

Im sure some of these whites Malcolm X is refering to not only sold the drug but did it themselves and maybe even would blame blacks if the authorities caught them . The drugs in the neighborhood were brought predominantly by whites. If you can generalize blacks as users why is it wrong for Malcolm to generalize whites as the distibutors. The word "victim" connotes someone who is not responsible for whatever predicament they are in. Therefore, he's saying that the people in Harlem who are stealing, gambling, lying, and cheating are not responsible for that behavior. He's not saying that behavior is acceptable, it's just not their fault.

Listen closely to all the behaviors and actions Malcolm says "Elijah Mohammed" says blacks should do. They're actually normal, white middle-class behaviors that everyone should follow in a civil society. The inner cities and the black underclass are actually a lot worse today than they were before de-segregation and the Civil Rights bill (1964). Same with post-independence, post-Apartheid Africa-- it's horrendously worse now than when whites ran the governments. How to explain this?

They all share cultural attributes. However, I still refuse to believe that these dismal results are biologically predetermined because of race. @takfam07 - In my opinion, it is an interim period occurring after a centralized power leaves resulting in power vaccum but also there are social vaccum factors resulting from decline of social values. Several countries went through politically chaotic periods after centralized govt's exit but only certain countries/social groups are going through social chaos. Depedning on social value of the population, more freedom can result in chaos. Thank you for explanation.

I would like to think that, had he lived, he might've developed a "Black Bushido Code." He was maturing right before he was killed. Perhaps his Code would've prescribed black social values--apart from Bronze Age or Medieval religious dogma. After all, he always addressed correct values, behavior, honor, & thrift for blacks.
