That's really good and I'm happy that you took an interest in God and i hope you continue. And it's not what i think, it's what i have read from God's Word (the Holy Bible). And He says that at an unknown hour (Matthew 24:36) Jesus will come back to get the ones who worked and suffered for Him. Then 1000 years later, God will pass judgment on all those who did not choose to follow Him. But for more info on this, read the book of Revelation.

PS-- I know that true Christians should rely on the Word of God for their assurance the most and His Holy Spirit also testifies with ours that we are the children of God (Rom 8:16), but i wanted to leave those works below just in case anyone else struggles with that. ;) Oh, and Edwards's "Manner of Conversions Various, Yet Bearing a Great Analogy" is also good.
