I find it super funny that Oroku Saki looks NOTHING like the other warriors who have weird hair and makeup.. Also, I think the girl Ninja Tribunal is super pretty when she is like this.. and now i guess too

I just noticed this: 8:00 pause and look at the horse's saddle. Thats the tokugawa crest. So am I to belive that the emperor commissons ninja when he has not the political power to do so? Of course it is a cartoon, but still, no what symbols you use before using them. Its just like when someone puts the takeda symbol on a charecter not from takeda's army.

they're wearing the armor he gave them, and these horses are probably the emperor's too...

But that makes no sense in a historical sense. The symbol used by the emperor would not have been that. Also, the ninja did not exist till the 1500s (sengoku era). Again, it is a cartoon, but knowing what i know is like watching a show about spiderman and knowing the lore of that show is incorrect. If that analogy makes any sense at all.

As a question and nothing more? Well, it comes with doing alot of research in history. I like history from all around the world, but none interested me then the Japanese history. So I retained alot of that information. Hell, i could tell you that in rurouni kenshin, alot of what you see is obviously fake, but alot of those characters are based off shinsengumi leaders and heroes.

This story takes place in 300 AD and as I recall, Mortue, Ch'rell and the rest of the utroms crashed on Earth around 1000 AD.

@Nicksolo85 well, it was a legend to the people of Japan, so it must have been well known. It would be easy for Ch'rell to learn about the origional Shredder. And the appearances might have been available to him through paintings, stories, artwork, and other artifacts.
