Had only ever heard the Buffy Sainte-Marie version of this, so thanks for putting this up. I'm a brit who moved to saskatchewan and live only 20 minutes away from the qu'appelle valley and go there often. I plan to get a house down in the valley at somepoint as its a beautiful and peaceful place. Funny (and nice) though to hear the song along with pictures of the green hills of home!

No, they are all in The Peak District, Derbyshire, England...the gorge is called "Winnet's Pass".
