@bloodpaw11 I remember the director saying in the commentary that they wanted to use wolf-dogs but didn't because the ones they examined where too doggish for her despite supposedly only being 10 percent dog. I only thought that she was obviously more influenced by her own beliefs than the canines in question. I mean a wolf needs to have certain qualities for this sort of film, so I doubt that they used the most "wolfish" ones but rather the most trainable.
