På den tiden funkade ju stilen, synd bara att det svenska bidragen inte blivit bättre, I resten av världen rör sig musiken framåt men I Sverige tror man att om vi fortsätter med det vinnande koncepten från 80-talet så kan vi inte förlora, trots alla de uppenbara bevis för det motsatta är sant. Vad värre är att vi tycks rösta så också vilket ju tyvärr säger en hel del om oss och vår smak.

Well well I have to admit that "rock" was already on ESC long before Norway's entry in 2005 and the awful Lordi's entry in 2006 ... Tomas Ledin sounded amazing here and the entry quite catchy ... way better than those "glam rock/gothic ugly faces" entry from u know who!

Thomas was already a popular singer in Sweden and abroad when he took part in Eurovision. While this song took me some warming up to, I now really like it. The lyrics are as desparate as the music.
