Bela is the cheesiest dude ever! He may have helped to create some amazing gymnasts but I always hated seeing him on tv

@rballettom I would rather see him be the way he is, than a total ass like Steve Nunno, he never looks happy and seems extremely aggressive towards his athletes. At least you can tell that Bela is passionate and really wants his girls to succeed.

@zeldafreak701 and you see how Shannon responds to him, she cowers whenever he comes near her, she acts like a chastized little girl, Nunno is an asshole, she is the ONLY good thing that came out of his gym.

@tmwalkerm Look, I'm not disagreeing with you, but you do realize that Nunno was an Olympic coach that put as much time into the sport as Shannon did. He seemed like an ass after Miller flubbed the AA floor, but he has to be. At that level of the sport, you can't be coddling your athletes when they mess up. You have to tell them to suck it up and keep going. Plus she took an individual gold. I don't think she minds.

@zeldafreak701 True enough, I'm just making observations about her body language, she's his pride and joy, the least he could do was speak to her like an adult instead of treating her like a child. I'm not disputing the results, she just never seemed happy, regardless of her winning all those medals, she did work her ass of for them, but he just doesn't seem to respect the work that SHE has to put in, its not all about him. That's the difference between him and MLT, the mutual respect.

@lilsnowskier711 i don't know if you noticed but her turn was supposed to be swung down not done on top of the bar, thus she wouldn't be torn apart, an this isen't now this is the 90's when gymnastics was beautiful to watch, well before nastia and shawn came along
