  • i remember tha miracle shot he hit against Portland

  • I remember that game & especially that dunk, recorded on a VHS I said to myself...

"wow, wait a minute, Let me freeze this replay because I think this guy's just done something special there". Bingo

    the most UNDERRATED dunk ever.

  • damn, higher dunk i ever seen

  • he's so underrated.

  • lol , same nr what Marcus Dewayne Johnson is

  • I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT. I was there every night...year after year of heartache. Still we returned hopeful. This night appeared as though the spurs would blow it again. Trailing the entire game, with only nine seconds left, Sean Elliot, who we later find out is severely sick and desperately needing a kidney transplant, not only hits the near impossible shot, but pushes back at the tide, and gives the spurs the momentum to redeem themselves forever.MONSTROUS ROAR and not a dry eye in the building

  • That was ridiculous, it looked like he was levitating.

  • I remember watching this game and although I am a Lakers fan... I was like what a sick dunk! Vlade got posterized!

  • yea this guy was a freak athlete and he could shoot to. Im a New York Knicks fan and a huge one at that but I gotta show respect. I always hated the spurs but I always liked this guys game. Over 10,000 points in a career, NBA champion, 2x all star and he is the all time leader in 3 pointers made in spurs history, at least when he retired he was.

  • Oh my goodness, head over ring!

  • This the most memorable dunk I have ever seen. Shawn Bradley thinks Vlade got posterized.

  • dude i remember this dunk on nba action back in the day. absolutely insane!!!!!!! think its one of those mind over matter situations!

  • the crazy thing is it doesnt even look like he is trying that hard. Absolutely effortless....amazing.

  • looks like he boosted off Vlade's knee!..lol

  • there was no boost he just went up and his foot barely touched divac's leg

  • barely? are u serious? this was like jason terry's dunk last season. at least 3 full extra inches due to that extra step.

  • Wow, I never knew dude had hops like that.

  • He did before his problems with his kidneys etc., dude was very athletic.

  • I forgot my boy Sean could get up that high...

  • god damn his head is above the rim

  • And this was when he was at the end of his career, around 2001.

I still remember watching this game. Playoffs 2001 I think against the Kings.

  • this was CLEARLY against the Lakers and it was YEARS before 2001. more like 94-95 when he returned to the Spurs after a stint with Detroit.

  • You are exactly right. It was the spring of 1995.

  • damn that boy got hops! shit sean elliott could have touched the top of the backboard

  • pssst, wild95cat, the Lakers, NOT the Kings wear purple and gold... this was in the nineties.

  • That's some crazy shit right there!!!

  • Dam that shit was nice! he must have invisible wings, lol,

  • Holy fuck!

  • at 11sec you can see a little airtime help from the defender's leg, but he still had to get that high up

  • actually the defender was going backwards and Sean's foot was never in a position on Vlade's thigh to gain upward motion....that was purely his bounce from being in the zone at that particular moment.

  • i will never forget this dunk... never!

  • Me either, and it was so long ago! I remember it to this day from Sportscenter.

  • That Dude Sean had mad Hopps!! People who did not get to see him play had no idea.

  • That looked like a video game glitch in NBA live or something

  • He had to have gotten a boost because he was in the air longer than Jordan ever was. No one can stay in the air like that off their own jump.

  • one of the dunks that's actually written in my memory, I just love how it seems he goes for a layup then finds himself eye level with the rim, so what else to do except dunk it

  • i swear to god that happen to me once, he got a boost from the defensive player and it made him go higher

  • I don't see any defensive players even around him except Divac, who was IN FRONT of him. No way he could have gotten a boost, that was all him!

  • It was a little boost 'cose he accelerated while he touched Vlade

  • but he did not hop on Divac! the touch did not help Elliott rise up or give him a boost in any way. plus it barely looked like he touched him anyway. it was sean's hops.

  • im gonna be the dick and ruin this...not that amazing ppl

  • He gets a boost of the defenders knee.

  • Now that was above the rim. His chin was level with the rim.

  • Song?

  • Ghetto gospel - 2pac

  • What the hell was that??? He was literally floating!

  • Sean was one of the best college players ever. Not as great in the NBA. But in college he dominated, especially when the pressure was on. He's the best thing to ever come out of Tucson!

  • I honestly think that's the first time I've seen him dunk. I always thought of him as a sweet shooter but now I know he was more than that

  • If you look, I think he kicks off the defender's leg... so he gets a little higher. It's still freakin' crazy.

  • Great player and now Spurs Play by play, this dude is cool and funny

  • whoa way above the rim

  • creepy high jump. how did that happen?

  • it didnt look like he jumped, he floated, wow!

  • good lord

  • its 2 t's idiot

  • wow, he had jumps!

  • anyone happen to know the detail of this game?

like the date of the game, or better anyone has a copy of this game for sale or trade??

    ta

  • Too bad injuries slowed him and his career down! when healthy he was an amazing basketball player Defintely one of my fav basketball players ever!

  • Yeah, he was one of my favorite spurs players of all time...I always loved he game.
