Whether or not Cybil survived is debatable and therefore, there are still two options for the real ending (it's the closest to canon it seems we're going to get. 2, 3, 4, Homecoming and Shattered Memories are up in the air).

To me it seems that the scene at the very end, which resembles the opening scene with Harry and his wife finding Cheryl, actually implies that by living with Cybil, Harry is destined to undergo the same fate (such as with the last scene of Maria ending at SH2, where the two protagonists are at the very point of the beginning, implying that everything is going to be repeated and nothing is actually over.)

The first time I played this 10 years ago, I didn't know the game had five endings. I got the very bad one (without knowing, its hard to get the good ending + with the Kaufman thing). I tough worst fucking ending ever (with Henry dead on the wheel of the car).

There is something I don't understand..why does Lisa kill Kuafmann if they never spoke to eachother in the game or really mentioned one another?

Kaufmann supposely gave her a drug called ''white claudia'' that controls her and made her take care of Alessa. The drug supposely killed her either that or she was cursed by Alessa's wrath and forever trapped in Silent Hill. So she wanted revenge on Kaufmann for ruining her life
because in SH Origins.... they were "on" with each other.... did you notice the letter in Alchemilla hospital about a staff party and about Trainee Nurses going too fast? And then Lisa was a trainee just then..... and sadly Kaufmann got Lisa...... so they were "on" but at the end of SH0 we hear Harry and his wife about seeing a baby.... and that baby was the one Lisa took outside of SH and left it there for someone to find it
did u remember the suite in the Riverside Motel? they Kaufmann and Lisa were in there right? then because Lisa took the baby, it halted the ritual for the birth of god, Kaufmann found out about what Lisa did so he killed her..... maybe after Travis left town? So he was killed by Kaufmann in SH0 then "revived" by Alessa in SH1 because she couldnt revive Lisa because she didnt have her other part..... and so LIsa was revived by couldnt remember anything. At the end she turns to this and kills Dr.K
This ending almost made me cry (wipes tear away). Now Harry & Cybil probably lived happily ever after with the new Cheryl. I promised myself not to cry (crys happily).
They didn't live happily ever after. They went their separate ways. Harry went into hiding from The Order and I assume Cybil did too. The Order has the surprising ability to track people down.

There is something I don't understand..why does Lisa kill Kuafmann if they never spoke to eachother in the game or really mentioned one another?
Now I know in origins something happens but keep in mind this game came out 10 years ago...so when you played through the game in the into yopu see her fight with kaufmann but in the game she has no contact with him...so why kill him?

Kaufmann supposely gave her a drug called ''white claudia'' that controls her and made her take care of Alessa. The drug supposely killed her either that or she was cursed by Alessa's wrath and forever trapped in Silent Hill. So she wanted revenge on Kaufmann for ruining her life

because in SH Origins.... they were "on" with each other.... did you notice the letter in Alchemilla hospital about a staff party and about Trainee Nurses going too fast? And then Lisa was a trainee just then..... and sadly Kaufmann got Lisa...... so they were "on" but at the end of SH0 we hear Harry and his wife about seeing a baby.... and that baby was the one Lisa took outside of SH and left it there for someone to find it

did u remember the suite in the Riverside Motel? they Kaufmann and Lisa were in there right? then because Lisa took the baby, it halted the ritual for the birth of god, Kaufmann found out about what Lisa did so he killed her..... maybe after Travis left town? So he was killed by Kaufmann in SH0 then "revived" by Alessa in SH1 because she couldnt revive Lisa because she didnt have her other part..... and so LIsa was revived by couldnt remember anything. At the end she turns to this and kills Dr.K

They didn't live happily ever after. They went their separate ways. Harry went into hiding from The Order and I assume Cybil did too. The Order has the surprising ability to track people down.

sorry to ruin your mood, tutm4n, but it´s not that romantic. there´s no "happily ever after" in SH series, even when they smile at an ending.
harry and probably cybil too got chased by the order, after that. the "new cheryl" is actually called heather, harry got chased for the order by the rest of his life, and sadly perished in the end(sorry for the SH3 spoiler). i don´t remember if they´ve told what happened to cybil, but she probably escaped, or the order forgot her, after harry´s death.

Always pissed me off that they went with the dead Cybil ending for 3. Seriously, it would have been nice to know that maybe even for a little while she acted as Heather/Cheryl/Alessa's mother. Even just a slight mention like "Dad's divorced" or "I never looked anything like my mom."
