Im an Aussie, and was comming home after Deer hunting late last year with a mate around 11pm and saw this exact light, we both watched it for about 5 mins and it shot off really fast vertically... a week later I went out hunting by myself and saw it through a clearing in the bush, it started pulsing the same brilliant amber colour then into a bright blue colour. When i got home I looked at where I marked it on my GPS and it was hovering over a lake in Central Q.L.D called Lake summerset...
My Daughter and I saw 3 of these on Sept. 12 during the full moon in the same city....it was amazing. I'm glad she was with me so my family couldn't call me crazy.

Also it appears much further off than I reckon a Chinese lantern would be visible for. How about checking the arrival RNAV for Cleveland International Airport? It shows when runways 24 L and R are active, aircraft over the lake enter the final glidepath near Euclid OH where these videos are generally being taken. The reason they appear stationary is that they're heading directly toward you with no left to right motion and bright because the landing lights are pointing straight at you.
I'll bet most of these 'UFOs' eventually turn camera left and guess what - land at CLE airport.

Many of the orbs have visible flashing white high intensity lights, and they seem to move in the same direction once they've turned from a seemingly "stationary" position. This is what planes do when they come in for landing. The UFO topic is exciting, but glowing orbs usually turn out to be aircraft. People with limited aviation knowledge mistake them them for ufo's.

Im a positive skeptic, seen ufos similair to this, and even more, this could be, a couple others though are clearly plane lights, but this, well, I will withhold judgement, but imo, looks like what I saw, I am an amateur astronomy nut, seen lots things people think are ufos that arent ...but this COULD be, thanks for the post, also imo I think some sort of em effect

that is it! I´ve seen those small lights till very big fireballs, flying slow than standing still, over hours, very, very often! first time in 2007, now still almost every night. one night it was like an invasion, never again seen so much! i wondered that nobody else saw it too!!

Im an Aussie, and was comming home after Deer hunting late last year with a mate around 11pm and saw this exact light, we both watched it for about 5 mins and it shot off really fast vertically... a week later I went out hunting by myself and saw it through a clearing in the bush, it started pulsing the same brilliant amber colour then into a bright blue colour. When i got home I looked at where I marked it on my GPS and it was hovering over a lake in Central Q.L.D called Lake summerset...

For all you non believers out there LISTEN UP!!!!! This video is real!!!! Me and my friend troy drive 3 hrs to Euclid to watch this..In march of 2010 when these lights started to get news attention. The lights are not planes!!!!!! The lights stood still..The would be really bright and vanish out of no where and then come back...The most we saw at a time was 8 and one time one showed up and a plane went by it and the ufo mimic the plane and flew right behind the plane and then both vanished

that means it's a comercial route and through that place every day.
They are beautiful lights, but... they are not ufo's, only are airplanes.

@utubin67 I'll challenge that! The thing doesn't move for 20 minutes. Clouds roll by while it stays perfectly still. Even if it were tethered it would sway more than that. Also it appears much further off than I reckon a Chinese lantern would be visible for. Whether or not it's a spacecraft is up for debate, but I'm ruling out Chinese lantern personally so.... still a UFO.

What year was this opening video taken?
I live on Lake Eerie, I've seen exactly that much closer up.
It followed us from Madison to Rock Creek, then when I turned around and drove all the way to Cleveland, it followed us DOWN TOWN.
It did the light strobing, expanded and shrunk and also was a neutral silver at points. Stopped over a building by maybe a thousand feet, sat their for about 5 minutes until 5-6 airforce jets came and it shot upward like a lightning bolt. The jets looked like slugs!

there are planes like the SR71 Blackbird which by the way can travel at up to1435 mph on a recognized route,experimental U-2 spy plane,Aurora a top-secret spy plane,The Darpa Disc Rotor,the Polecat,the TR3B,and an incedent that happened in Phoenix called the “Phoenix Lights” phenomenon which was a giant triangle moving slowly.now these ships were built around the 50's when the US hadn't or just had landed on the moon and the US didnt have knowledge of nuclear powered planes.

How about checking the arrival RNAV for Cleveland International Airport? It shows when runways 24 L and R are active, aircraft over the lake enter the final glidepath near Euclid OH where these videos are generally being taken. The reason they appear stationary is that they're heading directly toward you with no left to right motion and bright because the landing lights are pointing straight at you.
I'll bet most of these 'UFOs' eventually turn camera left and guess what - land at CLE airport.

@executivesteps Executive is right. I'm pretty sure these are regular commercial aircraft, they look and behave the same. Many of the orbs have visible flashing white high intensity lights, and they seem to move in the same direction once they've turned from a seemingly "stationary" position. This is what planes do when they come in for landing. The UFO topic is exciting, but glowing orbs usually turn out to be aircraft. People with limited aviation knowledge mistake them them for ufo's.

WOW! This really is one of THE BEST videos I've seen on Youtube. . . Nicely done cameraman. If I may, the only constructive criticism I've got is riiiiight when it starts getting good (after 11:00 and so on) it was a bit of shaking. I only say that because it was kinda difficult to see the irregular flight patterns (very important for debunking because CGI is VERY recognizable by the flight pattern). Other than that though, PERFECT views of these objects man...
