@Ezi0AuditoreDiFirenz engineering is applied math and physics. so it is all math, from day 1 untill graduation. i have a degree in engineering and i speak from experience. if u r passioannte about applied math and physics, and ready to spend your days and nights with equations and numbers, then engineering maybe for you
Well that's not what i thought it was :/ anyone know what study is involved in development of alternative energy sources or even applying them (i.e. Solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity, or even applying them into a wider commercial usage)?
Great video. How important is it to be good in advanced math such as calculous to study this? I took chemistry in high school but i dont remember much, plus i never took physics. Can anyone offer any info on this?
Well, you need to be pretty good in as engineering mostly deals with mathematics. You should start stuying physics too because it will help you alot in engineering. Maths is not very hard, for me it's the easiest module of the whole course. I am currently studying civil engineering and environmental engineering is a subdiscipline of civil.
I wonder whether the propects and the pay is good?
And will the course be math-based???
Can anyone help me on this???

@buzzy918 That's more of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Have fun with that =].

I heard differential equations is a basis for many engineering courses, is it true? What about partial DEq?

@MetaIhead89 That's true. You will be covering ODE's in the first year, maybe second term.

i shifted to this course
