You have no idea how to teach. You are more like a robot giving away information rather than a teacher who stimulates the mind. Does IIT turn out mindless robots? Take a look at some effective teaching material on YouTube. Or look at MIT OCW to see what contemporary teaching looks like. Dork!
hi everyone! Where can I get the pdfs of these Perl class videos? I checked the IIT Khadakpur site, but didn't find 'em. If someone has the links, please reply. Many thanks!
I am very grateful to find these tutorials on youtube. Awesome job by IIT and Prof. Sengupta.
DON'T READ THIS CAUSE IT ACTUALLY WORKS YOU WILL BE KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. HOWEVER IF YOU DON'T POST THIS TO AT LEAST THREE VIDEOS OR YOU WILL DIE WITHIN TWO DAYS. NOW UV STARTED READING THIS DON'T STOP THIS IS SO SCARY PUT THIS ON AT LEAST FIVE VIDEOS IN 143 MINUTES WHEN YOUR DONE PRESS F6 AND YOUR LOVER NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN IN THE BIG LETTER THIS IS SO SCARE CAUSE IT ACTUL
Great lectures, Mr. Sengupta, one issue I had was you didn't show any output right after each program. Adding that would make it more easier to understand that you already made it look:)
I certainly agree that having runtime examples is helpful, but there's alot to cover. And the best part about these video tutorials is that you can pause and take notes or pause and actually test it yourself. Which surely must be one of the best ways to learn
Thanks for the lecture. I have been listening to your lectures since I've stumbled upon it. I'm 50 years old --not to late to learn. I've learned a lot from your lectures.

Hi Sengupta,
Nice Lecture and I appreciate your work.
I want to point a small correction in 'elseif' slide. In Perl there is no 'elseif', it should be 'elsif'.
