  • this is cool but it cuts off at the end, liking the jazz bass :D

  • check the cover my account is RODKANDFIRE i hope enjoy!

  • excelente amigo y cheque tus videos muy buen gusto en bajos felicidades que bueno que te guste este tipo de musica

  • Which goes to show that, if you're playing this bassline, you have to be a human metronome that keeps the beat and keeps the beat and keeps the beat to the end of the song.

  • I like your style, and your taste in music

  • my dad play in the band with lipps XD so pro at the bass

  • Really sweet vid!! I have an Ibanez Silver Series bass, and an Ampeg B 410. I've been playing this bass line, almost exactly the same as in this vid for about 20 years. Couple others I like is Crazy little thing called love by Queen, and Ain't Got no Home by Clarence the Frogman Henry.

    Cheers!!

  • @giorgivera : And so ? Never pretend that this bassline was hard do play, did I ?

  • well done! Like this alot ;o)

  • excellent ;)

  • Thanks. =

  • did u turn the tone up?

    i like the sound..

    sorry, im new in bass..

  • Hi ya and no pb mate,

Actually I cut the highs , reduced the mediums and boost a bit the lows on the EQ.

Also, I turn 75% down the bridge pickup and turn the tone closer to the neck pickup.

    that's all. =)

  • thank man..

    appreciate that..

  • Dude! You and I have almost the same Jazz Bass!!

Mine was a Squire 70's Vintage Modified J-Bass, but I replaced the neck with a licensed Fender Ebony Neck, added a Tortoise Pick Guard, Fender 60s Custom Shop Pickups, Bad Ass Bridge II, 7 way passive preamp controls, and Roto Sound Flat wound strings.

What is your Jazz all about, buddy? Is it a Fender, custom shop or clone jazz?

    Great cover, BTW!!

    LRRG!!

  • (Damn'....your Squire should sound/look 100 times better than a standard Fender)

Actually this is a shitty clone bass (no name ! xD), sound ok but just used it...com'on, I don't know why.

And by the way can u give me an advice ? I currently forsseing for a futur (September or October) G.A.S., and I'm hesitating a lot between a Fender Jazz and a Fender Mustang.

By the way, thanks for the comment LRRGer. =P

  • I'm not too keen on the Mustang Bass. If the Jaguar Basses were as cheap as they use to be, I'd say them. Jaguars have so many choices for tone, it's just crazy.

What kind of Jazz do you think your looking for? Of the few I've tried in shops, I really like the Geddy Lee model. Japanese made, light body, 60s pickups, and a really fast neck!!

The MIM (Made in Mexico) Jazz like the 70's reissue and the Road Worn series all sound great, but the 70's series sound a bit hotter,.

    I hope this helps.
