  • Hi I wonder if this phone is like galaxy ace that the screen goes blank after a tiny little while and then you have to type the password, its anoying. PS: does it has a good sound when you play music.

    Thanx for replies!!!

  • This guy has an awful asian accent

  • Thees season, we couldn't add a LED light to this damn phone! Never buying this, only for this reason, NO LIGHT! PATHETIC! ARGH!

  • galaxy ass

  • BIG IPHONE WANNNA B,

  • 0:05 Ha, I have the 720p video came with my samsung laptop :P

  • I think I'm gonna get this phone for Xmas!

  • pause at 1:14

  • IS THIS A GOOD PHONE

  • pff learn speak englich normaly if you do a review

  • @RandomVidsMaker dude if u diddnt know, samsung is korean, and telling by this guys accent he's also korean, so y dont u stfu and just be happy koreans r fucking giving u this technology. so y dont u fucking leave it alone. and u spelt english wrong

  • @RandomVidsMaker if only you know how hard it is to speak English normally when you born in a non English speaking country >:( and Samsung is made in Asia, in which many of the countries are non English speaking!! >:P and learn to spell ENGLISH first and leave the man alone!!

  • @GOandmakeDISCIPLES he shouldt do a english review when he can't speak it

and I am from Holland and I can speak englich much better than him

  • bye bye apple

  • Nasty 

  • which is better SAMSUNG OMNIA HD i8910 or SAMSUNG GALAXY S i9000???please...im torn between these two phones...

  • @johnraypaig 2nd

  • of course Samsung Galaxy S

  • Noticed how all those FANATIC APPLE USERS are now having a go @ Samsung and other new GEN iphones users... just as they have done within the computer industry...WELL first off APPLE products have always been restricted both within HARDWARE and SOFTWARE use (I for one was not surprised when APPLE had taken the decision to CENSER the internet usage within their iphones). Regardless of this I have always viewed with experience APPLE users in the same way as the TALIBAN Vegetarians and Puritans.

  • The Samsung man has very beautiful hands. Nice voice too - very charming way of speaking English. He must have learned it in England.

(Why do I not mention the phone? Because i have this phone already. It's brilliant - like he says.)

  • HAHA i turned the caption on with transcribe audio and 90 percent were off

  • that's a brick!

  • Looks like a decent phone but I wish we could avoid the copy cat Apple bookstore, among other things. I like and use both android and iOS platforms but innovation comes when you invent something new (software and hardware) that wows people, not when you jump on the copy cat band wagon. Winnie the Poo oh oh no wait, it is the tale of Peter Rabbit!

I can't wait for Android 2.2 as it brings some features that Apple will probably never put on their phones; at least not any time soon.

  • I've been getting some controversial reports from people who've bought it, about it being sluggish and slow (several seconds' delay in some instances), and the huge screen taking a toll on battery life (something that's hardly a surprise)...

    Just a heads up.

  • @sam

Thank you for the heads up.

I do not YET have the phone(will have to wait until December to upgrade unfortunately)- but I heard from people who have the phone- that the sluggishness was caused by some of the preloaded widgets on the front- and that when they took the widgets off- the phone ran smooth as can be. So one may have to choose between the widgets- or a smooth running phone. But let anyone who mentions the sluggishness know to try removing the widgets. Let me know what you hear.

  • is there any way to remove Samsung's UI overlay like you can on HTC Sense?

because I like the stock android 2.1 and 2.2

also, will this phone get the 2.2 update?

  • @Rohanlal1

    2.2 in September.

  • @Rohanlal1

I do not yet have the phone- but some say you can remove it- most say you cannot.

  • The thing is even when companies like HTC, Samsung, Motorola Droids etc... are coming out with phones that are obviously better than the Iphone based on their features and their specs, they wont be really able to kill the Iphone because of POPULARITY. The Iphone is already too popular

  • I love the screen on this phone but it does look sluggish. I hope this is something they can fix or will be fixed by Android 2.2.

  • that korean accent is getting a little irritating a XP

  • whats the price in US friends, Please reply fast.

  • @platinumfarooq $600

  • im debating on this or the Nexus One. the Galaxy S seems amazing but not sure about the 4inch screen. May be too large to carry in pocket..

  • It looks wayy too big...that thing is HUGE.

  • @samsamba08 huge? have u seen the HTC EVO, the Droid X, the HTC HD2?

    they are all 4'4" screen

  • @Djapatos2 they are actually 4.3 inches, but ur still right

  • Kongglish pronunciation~~~

  • A LITTLE BIT LAG......

  • amazing phone

  • Wtf the sound is shity !

  • Pronunciation..........

  • hope they wont use anymore android, make a iphone clone with windows mobile not android.

tbh this phone is waay too big, htc desire or nexus one are way better overall.

    remember android ROCKS!

  • can u type with voice like in nexue one?

    it has 2.1!

  • yes another iphone killer! lol

  • ofcourse when iPhone 4G (HD) comes it will be veeery better but...for now this is the greatest phone!

  • @hotwheels1997

    hell yah samsung > apple

  • @hotwheels1997 No its not. iphone doesnt even have half the features and quality than samsung galaxy.

    seriously dude..look at the facts

  • It has 1GHz procesor and the fastest grafic procesor!!

  • the best phone!!

  • Comment removed

  • very goob fhone

  • this better have 64gb minimum.... plus micro sd expansion otherwise its no movie medica player, i want all my vids in one place

  • @128gbor256g if 64gb can even come close to having all your vids in one place then you don't have enough vids to warrant some sort of allstar movie player.... what I think you need to do is stream....

  • they would try to make a wannabe htc sense UI keyboard...

  • @doudymac actually its an available Android app called "aldiko". try it out!

  • @doudymac You should say android copied

samsung had that kind of bookshelf before the i pad came out.

  • @doudymac just because the iphone started with the menu doesn't mean it's an "iphone" or "ipad" style menu

  • @doudymac

    Officially PWNED by Samsung.

  • i am going to by that after selling my fucking iphone!!

  • You need hype this phone more Samsung, release some actual specs, people talk more about the HTC Evo 4g.

  • Where is Nokia these days? Oh that's right, stuck in the previous decade.

  • @sangolt88 Nokia is still great,i have supported only Nokia and samsung so far.and i will continue to do so.'No,no' to Apple Iphone,Google Nexus One,HTc desire and Evo.but i am a bit inclined to try blackberry phones.i am sure it is better than iphone!

  • @sangolt88 On top of the market.

  • One line of the battery is passed down within 5 minutes. There has even the iPhone with its weak battery endurance more!

  • it's not much faster then my htc tattoo ....

  • @suoko1 really? i heard that it has the fastest processor out there 90mil. polygon/ sec vs. 22mil polygon/sec.... around 4-5 times faster than the ones used in iphones and htc models...

  • @sknman92 ya,that is true. But Ihpone 4G will use the same processor, which will b manufactured by samsung. The processor is so far the best for smartphone. No wonder apple bought intrinsity which partnered with samsung to develop that processor.

  • The only thing that is keeping this phone from being perfect is it is missing flash for the camera.

  • this one has a much nicer screen... but I'd still go for the Evo - nicer UI and not attempting as hard to imitate the iPhone (which I don't really want if I'm going Android)

  • It really bothers me the app tray skin looks like the iPhone's. I know thats what theywere going for and I HATE it.

  • @Drancks You can turn it off to vanilla Android if you want :)

  • Great mobile phone..

  • @13R1CK4 Wow someone exactly like an idiot, except less informed.

  • LOL What the hell are you, the Samsung Galaxy troll? You act like you made it yourself.

  • 3 years worth waiting

  • This looks like a sweet phone.

Unfortunately given the support i recived on my Samsung BluRay player i have vowed that i will never buy Samsung again.

Oh well HTC EVO here i come.
