The problem I have with the pro-lifers are the fact that they have no plan as to what they would do with the unwanted babies. The system is already overcrowded and abusive and has proven to be a failure. The supply would be greater than the demand as far as adoption goes and they are already bitching about their taxes.. It costs a lot of money to raise kids even if you do a half assed job.

Abortions are more often sought out of personal convenience--not for medical reasons. Barack Obama said he wouldn't want his teenaged daughter "punished" by having a baby. How sad is that? And he's our freakin' President!
I would guarantee you that if a 100 babies were dropped off on 100 doorsteps in my neighborhood (including mine), our neighborhood population would automatically rise by 100. I have faith in humanity.
If you really believe that then why are approximately 300,000 kids being added to the foster care system every year? The question was what would you do with the babies. At first adoption would work however it would not be long at all before the supply would be far greater than the demand. I have no faith in humanity as I watched many kids suffer daily while they sat and hoped someone would adopt them. I saw very few kids leave with a new family. What is so unrealistic about my question?
C'mon, let's be realistic here. If 300K kids ENTER the foster care system, then at least 290K EXIT the foster care system each year as well. Most of these are temporary placements (many with relatives) because of parental issues. Unfortunately it's not against the law to be an unfit parent. But punishing their children by preventive extermination is not the answer.
You are wrong. Many of the kids who enter the system stay there until they age out. I was there for example from 11 to 18. The kids who have parents are the ones who get to leave. These babies would not have parents. So they would be like I was. I urge you to look into the system a bit more. Many children from the system simply disappear without a trace. Some are murdered and some sold on the sex trade. They are drugged and abused on many levels. Your tax dollars pay for this abuse.
When these kids age out they leave without the skills needed to survive in the real world. They usually end up homeless and as a result resort to crime. 80% of them end up in prison or committing suicide. Rarely do they graduate from H.S. I am one of the lucky ones. The majority of the ones who make it have mental scars for life and usually end up back in the system in one form or another. Why not fix the system first and then talk about making abortion illegal?
This has been going on for decades and it is just the tip of the ice berg. The thing is people either ignore it, don't know about it, or they just don't care. I have made it my mission to try and help as much as I can.. It is wrong.

If you want to really find out what is happening you have to take the time and talk to the kids. The people in charge do not tell the truth. The kids will not tell the truth if they are around or until you gain their trust. They are all inner locked and that is how they get away with it. I thought it was just my area until I got the internet. Now I know it is everywhere.
I myself went though it in Kansas Wyoming and Missouri. All 3 of them states were the same. Don't get me wrong there are some really good foster families too. They are as frustrated with the system as the kids are. There just are not enough of them. It is sort of irrelevant what the budget is right now as the money needs to be spent or the consequences of doing nothing could be 30-40% unemployment worldwide. That is a situation nobody wants to see, conservative or liberal. True? The more they spend, the more money there is to make things and for consumers to buy them. when i was a kid, my sisters and i were at home w mom, but our best friend was in the foster home across the back yard. it was terrible. the "mother" was emotionally, verbally physically abusive, she admitted to our mom that the reason she did it was for the money. we had to spend the night there once and i was so scared i couldn't sleep. and my dad was a drunk and my mom was abusive, still this situation was so not right. at all.

The problem I have with the pro-lifers are the fact that they have no plan as to what they would do with the unwanted babies. The system is already overcrowded and abusive and has proven to be a failure. The supply would be greater than the demand as far as adoption goes and they are already bitching about their taxes.. It costs a lot of money to raise kids even if you do a half assed job.

Instead of fixing that problem first they would rather ignore it and add to it. I do not believe abortion is wrong. I do however think it should be limited to the first trimester with a few minor exceptions. Abortions are more often sought out of personal convenience--not for medical reasons. Barack Obama said he wouldn't want his teenaged daughter "punished" by having a baby. How sad is that? And he's our freakin' President!

If you really believe that then why are approximately 300,000 kids being added to the foster care system every year? The question was what would you do with the babies. At first adoption would work however it would not be long at all before the supply would be far greater than the demand. I have no faith in humanity as I watched many kids suffer daily while they sat and hoped someone would adopt them. I saw very few kids leave with a new family. What is so unrealistic about my question?

C'mon, let's be realistic here. If 300K kids ENTER the foster care system, then at least 290K EXIT the foster care system each year as well. Most of these are temporary placements (many with relatives) because of parental issues. Unfortunately it's not against the law to be an unfit parent. But punishing their children by preventive extermination is not the answer.

You are wrong. Many of the kids who enter the system stay there until they age out. I was there for example from 11 to 18. The kids who have parents are the ones who get to leave. These babies would not have parents. So they would be like I was. I urge you to look into the system a bit more. Many children from the system simply disappear without a trace. Some are murdered and some sold on the sex trade. They are drugged and abused on many levels. Your tax dollars pay for this abuse.

When these kids age out they leave without the skills needed to survive in the real world. They usually end up homeless and as a result resort to crime. 80% of them end up in prison or committing suicide. Rarely do they graduate from H.S. I am one of the lucky ones. The majority of the ones who make it have mental scars for life and usually end up back in the system in one form or another. Why not fix the system first and then talk about making abortion illegal?

I myself went though it in Kansas Wyoming and Missouri. All 3 of them states were the same. Don't get me wrong there are some really good foster families too. They are as frustrated with the system as the kids are. There just are not enough of them. Teenage girls in the system are pretty much passed from one pedophile to the next. To think the taxpayers pay for this abuse. I was fortunate that I never got pregnant. I don't know if Catholics still believe in Purgatory and Limbo, but they used to. Babies would never go to Hell or Purgatory because they are not guilty. Unbaptized babies go to Limbo. finkster, Their "Red State" schtick is satire, a parody of red staters. In this clip alone they ridiculed Limbaugh,Catholics and Protestants.
The funny thing is that many right wingers who watch, don't understand that they're being made fun of. Because the sad thing is that most "rednecks" actually think this way.

Yup, that's what I was just saying. I see a lot of posts saying "yeah, those stupid liberal dumbocrats" from conservatives who think they're in agreement with these guys, but I'm pretty sure that in the real world Travis and Jonathon are very liberal.

very liberal, just check out there vid "10 damn years of red state" they both out of character. theyre doing like what colbert does, not saying colbert is funny, but they role play then self deprecate. pretty how that approach can rly hit the hammer right on the nail.
