Second, will you incorporate accelerometer data or utilize the gyro in any kind of midi programmable way? I have to use an app called iTilt to do it, so I switch back and forth between apps but would prefer to stay in yours. It's cool because I can play my iPad like a theremin. Any chance that will happen in the next update?

Does it have to connect via WI-FI or can it be via USB? I ethernet midi sync two laptops and I find that things gets glitchy if I have the airport on while doing so.

No messy wires/cables. This is a clean sweep app to control ableton. After using this for a while I've decided to auction my vestal vcm controller.

@weaponEX EXACTLY!!!!! how could you make an ipad controller that doesn't do x/y pads!? That would easily be one of the greatest features of this type of device. has this been added?

it seems there is no mute anywhere.

for my liveset I need access to scenes and mutes (no volume faders, mutes) at the same time.

maybe some modularity options could fix this (like being able to show exactly what i want, e.g; removing unwanted buttons, adding others : in my case i'd remove solo, arm and clip stop and add mute)

btw you should develop a vertical mode : less tracks, more scenes, and more scenes visible in splitted screen.

@troubl3gum The yellow buttons you see below the volume faders at 0:55 are the mute toggles for each track. You can switch the modules you want to have shown on either half of the screen - e.g. show Clips, Scenes, volumes & mutes at the same time.

I don't know anything about program so I might be expecting the impossible but if someone says "Ableton touch pad controller", "assignable X-Y pad" is the first feature I think of.

Just got this, set it up and it works perfect right off the get-go with your setup guide... but where's the cross fader??

@nsgmusic Scrolling lag is due to the use of the Simulator for the Screencast. On the iPad it is smoother - check out our other videos to get an idea of the performance and latencys

Yes, it's possible to run it alongside any other kind of control System you're using right now. Or you could just run touchAble twice on 2 ipads on the same set ;-)
