I don't know about this model to be limited. I was lucky enough to pick one up at my local model kit dealer, though. But just recently I've seen advertisement for a limited edition (2000 pcs) of it as a dirty version, but they said it's not available yet. Maybe later in 2010...

I just bought one today. Pretty expensive for a 1:18 die-cast, but it IS the coolest car EVER and I couldn't resist. And I can tell you, people : it is just AWESOME when you take it out of the box. Incredible detail ! Even the dog's food cans are really detailed. Insane... :-D

I can't find the exact number on the net. All I find is " a very limited edition" but I believe it says on the box how many there are made. A few thousand if I remember correctly. But I don't have the box around to verify.
