as first sorry for my english. i think it´s not bike that make biker. it´s not important that you ride on harley honda kawasaki that you ride on chopper or superbike. that freedom is in your heart. i found many friends from time that i have bike. they are the most "beautiful :-)" people in me life.

It's not the bike that make you that person it's your heart. If you're not happy with who you are no bike in the world will fix that. I agree with the part about how it make you feel but i am the same person on or off my FXSTC. Get right with yourself then worry about your ride.

I don't think you get my point. What I'm saying is Jap/Brit/Italians all make very good bikes. But in terms of what Harley can do to you, the person it makes you into, and how it makes you feel, you simply cannot compete. It almost feels like driving by a longs stretch of highway in Tenessee on a warm sunny day with your family besides you (then you know you've made it ;) ).

Yes, Japanese bikes are very good bikes, So as Italian (MotoGuzzi) and Brits(Triumphs). I used to have Honda Shadow myself it was a darn good bike. Now I have a Nightster. But you know what? When the sun goes down, Honda riders go home so that they can go to work next day to pay mortgage. When the sun sets, Harley riders disappear in to the long stretch of highway...(i'm speaking metaphotically). That is the difference between HD and the rest.
