  • ...... 1000 Watt PS... Overpowered PS for that system... money waste

  • can't go wrong with AMD processor =D

  • Would two Intel Core 2 Quad Q9505 work with that otherboard

  • well nice mate

  • omg @ the song

  • damn wish that was a video hehe looked awesome

  • that was pretty cool :D

  • Thanks.

  • oh and by the way very very nice pc man, keep it up.

  • spartonmonster, seriously what is wrong with you? you sound like a very bitter old man, that smells like crotch. i mean seriously, almost every foreign country hates America and calls us bad guys, when your the ones bad mouthing and cursing us out, aka spartanmonster, when the average American does nothing to any of you, yet ya hate us, it is so uneducated and illogical. i could name so many wrongs for every country, but i dont, believe me America is the best place on earth. doubt if ya want.

  • Nice case. my comment was a reply to spartanmonster.

    + I gave you 5 stars.

  • Are you one of the 40% of elderly retired during Raegan administation in foreign countries? Okay, just don't look back.

  • @spartanmonster I would like to know what country you are from.

  • first off spartan its spelt technology....meathead!!

  • dude i'm not even american and i think you are totally out of order. truth be told, i think true enthusiasts appreciate the work of manufacturers worldwide rather than brag about what they have. Think of enthusiasts, not half-hearted end-users

  • dude if u are a true "Gaming" enthusiast you know to forgo dumping a ton of money into a known manufacturer and build your own machine from the ground up, first off you get the satisfaction of playing on what u made, you can truly say it is yours, its a hell of allot cheaper, and if something goes wrong you will probably know how to fix it

  • don't use all caps and spell badly to get attention

    "i has the riverse effect"

(for god's sake youtube even has a spelling check)

  • So I can do this and this will work on my cpu heat sink that I got with my cpu?

  • Sanding the CPU is called lapping the processor to make it smooth and improve the contact for cooling. I wouldnt do it unless you are not worried about voiding your CPU warranty. Its not supposed to be just shiny but very smooth and try to make it even all the way across. If I had a $1000 CPU then I might think again about lapping it. I have my CPU on water cooling and overclocking to 3.8.

I want my PC to run as smooth as possible at higher speeds to make sure it lasts longer.

  • hahaha i just think you like shiny :P

  • Hey AWESOME gaming lan box. But whats the point for scratching up your cpu on sandpaper to make it shiny? why?

  • id guess its to make the cpu block as smooth as possible so that it makes better contact with the watercooling block, thus more efficient heat transfer.

  • that doesnt look anthing as i thought it would didnt like the paint job i guess i like sticking to all black...other than that nice man.

  • i wonder why cpus dont come with a mirror finish in the first place ?

  • i like that color =) good idea labellel67 and nice memorycard and processor

  • kickass rig man! and that paint looks awesome as. I wanna paint the inside of my case that color now.

This is my rig that i just built:

    CPU: AMD Athlon x2 7750

    Motherboard: Asus M2N68-AM Plus

    RAM: 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800

    Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 9800GT

    PSU: 460watt CoolerMaster

Case: NZXT Alpha with side windows (black)

Not the best rig in the world, but it gets the job done. Im happy with it :) Of course nowhere near as good as yours :)

  • stick some more ram in and get a new cpu and ull be laughing :D

  • Well, i plan on getting an AMD Phenom II x4 940 when i get the money. But ive already upgraded my ram (use to have 1gig) and i dont feel that i need more then 2gig for now.

  • Nice paint and Nice rig Man!!

    5 stars!!

  • What video card do you have?

  • I have two ATI Sapphire HD4850s I GB DDR3 Crossfire

  • Ah can't wait to spend my signing bonus on a computer :).

  • Nice!

  • oops i mean i have a 790fx chipset

  • hey i just bought a phemon II x4 955 BE, and an asus m4a79t mother board, i think i made a bad decision in buying it, like it seems awsome but it dont work and they wont take it back cause i opened it, the BIOS is all fucked up on mine and i cant fix by putting a new BIOS in it, any one got any suggestions on what to do or what mother board i should go with?

  • reset and flash the bios again.

Asus should be able to do a warranty on it. Send it back to them. I go thru Newegg. They are good with RMA.

I am going with the MSI 790FX-GD70. I have it on order.

  • i m trying alll the versions of the BIOS's now and they all say the same thing, that it is not ACPI compliant, i guess i has to send it back :(

  • well always make sure the motherboards are compatible with the CPU you chose. I think the MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard looks good but its $170

  • thanks i got it to work, i forgot to take off and put back on the jumper, stupid me, and the 790fx chipset

  • COOL. you got it going.

Im getting my motherboard today. I know its expensive and all that but I want it so bad. I sold my old ATV so I could buy 8GB memory, motherboard, bluray drive, and 1TB HD.

  • lol i might have to sell my atv, but i'll sell my kidneys before that happens

  • I just sold the little one...200 Sport. I like our bigger Polaris. I wouldnt sell that either.

  • nice, i have a bored out (to 520cc) honda trx450, it has about 12-13 thousand in it, i raced in eduro, but i broke my leg and shattered my knees recently and cant ride for a long time so i decided to give computers a shot, i didnt think they would cost so much, i already have spent $4500 in it, and i dont think i like computers that much and more. now i have this half finished frankenstein sitting in my office.

  • hey i just bought all the stuff i need for my built... heres my rig

    CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2ghz

    MOBO: AM3 DDR3

    RAM: 3 X 1GB 1333mhz

GPU: 2 ATI SAPPHIRE 4890 HD CROSSFIRE

    PSU: 800 WATTS

i just put all these stuffs together and have not tried to power up my rig... so if i were to power up... do i need to run a BIOS update for my mobo?... and when i power up my com will boot as normal rite? coz all the stuffs are new and i dont think i have each of their drivers yet

  • what brand of motherboard? there is a bios update for the 790FX-GD70 available on the MSI website but the software doesnt support vista 64 bit OS (for BIOS version 1.4).

it should work even with the BIOS 1.3.

  • GIGABYTE MA785GT-UD3H

  • thats a cool board.

you have triple ddr3 but it should support two sticks. i have heard of other triple channel ddr3 working in a dual channel board. your bios should be ok

  • i really wouldnt have got the amd

  • im on a budget oriented pc built

  • snaketh1

amd isnt that bad. They have a really good price/performance ratio. Thats why i bought an amd cpu for my rig, coz i was on a budget.

But if i had the money, i definately would have gotten an intel cpu. I agree that intel is much better.

  • good job ma i dont know how u build this shit i would fuck the whole thing up

  • I love computers.

  • Very Fucking nice (Y) 10/5 XD

  • very dirty, 0:17

  • That is what the case looked like when I purchased it.

  • aha

  • OMG THIS IS SO GREAT NICE PAINTING AND MODDING NICE ! MAN LOL HOW MUCH WOULD U SELL THat FOR ? LOL IM JUST ASKING

  • This one...I will not sell. Not unless Cooler Master designs a case that I would like better than this one.

  • Nice job with the case - I really like that.

  • What about (COOLER MASTER Storm Scout) for ur AMD build??? Its a nice case i think>>

  • I am thinking about that case. I like it too. I would have to sit and imagine on it for a while as to what I could do to it.

  • very nice ;)

  • i love your case, the color combination looks great!! please post more videos. thank you

  • can u write down all painting prosess

  • For the plastic parts, I scuffed up the plastic with a scotch brite pad even though the Kyrlon Fusion paint says its not necessary. I lightly scuffed entire peices to dull finish. I washed with Dawn Dishsoap. I tacked it after it dried. The Kyrlon Fusion Satin Black came out really good first 2 cans but had dud can. Bad Nozzle. The finish came out well but not as well as the others. I think it looks better in person than in a photo.

  • fun project!
