Hi. In the 80-ies I filmed the Mutrah souq as shown in "Film 010 Souvenirs from Oman" of my account. At that time people in Oman were not used at all to being filmed of photographed. Later on it became a lot easier. In my film (referred here) it is shown.

Matrah suq not Muscat suq

Asalaamu alaikum,

I lived in Muscat for four years, and really it's a very fine country. The people, the fascilities, the economy, government... all are great and tolerant of foreigners. Part of how I was able to become Muslim was by the example I saw in Oman, Alhamdulilah. May Allah SWT continue to guide and bless Oman's fine Sultan, and all people therein.

@AyeAyeMatey you know, i live in UAE..Dubai, And in my University there are all kind of people from the middle east, And as my experience i found that Kuwaitis and Saudis and people from Qatar are too God Damn Cocky and walk around like their shit dont stink, but not Omani people, they're kind and dont judge you or look down on you. thats what i see
