I have a white 1990 Limited with the 4 speed and V6 3300 engine. Perfect shape. Everything works even the electric seats, mirrors and AC. Powerful, fast and comfortable. 140,000 miles. Paid 300 dollars. No rust.
My guess would be that most people who bought this car didn't end up "going into the next century" with it.
In high school, I relentlessly attacked cars like this, but now I wish my family had owned cars like these instead of no-personality Japanese cars. (The Euro phase was good though....)
I got this car in white in almost perfect condition interior is perfect everything is stock no tears or anything on it :) engine is good and everything works
My favorite Century model, love the full-width tail light.. A design that has aged well, a very comfortable, reliable and safe car. I want one in the same color as the commercial.
HELPL. im replacing the alternator on my 1989 Buick Century Custom but i cant put the Serpentine Bands on, cuz i cant find the tensioner release thing that will let me put the band on the last wheel. i found a hole underneath one of the wheels next to the alternator, i think its the tensioner that will allow me to put on the band but i cant find the right tool that fits into it. does anyone have any clues to help? THANKS AND COOL COMMERCIAL, i wish i could run it inside the car. lol

I had one of these about 5 years ago. I baught it from an elder family member who was the original owner. It only had 33,000 miles on it when I got it. She babied it so much. It was showroom new pretty much. It had the 'limited' badge and was dark gray. I sold it for a Cougar, lol.
