I am working on a similar project but I am putting a 5hp honda clone on a suzuki LT50 quad. Awsome way to bring an old bike back to like cheaply and reliably.

A big 5hp on that little lt50 should make it really fast and fun. The fun factor is off the charts.

thats cool we had one that looked just like it ours had the ds motor on it though and xr 100 forks and xr 100 rear shocks

xr100 parts huh, that must have been a nicer ride. The original engine was too beat to put money in, wouldn't be worth it at all. I do have parts to make another DS80 though lol.
