and if you bring up viruses, that is only because noone bothers to write them for OS X because 97% of the WORLD runs windows! if OS X did get a virus, you would be HELPLESS to stop it, seeing as, unlike windows, OS X does NOT have an insane amount of fully-supported protection measures built in...

well you could just use Time machine to restore to the last state before you get the viruses. on windows you have to restore the fucking computer. it dosent fucking mater about the fucking share. the people that have a mac are the rich prople. Ive been on pc for years now but i have a mac now and i think i wont be changing back.

Eh. Doesn't really solve the problem, just hides it. Why not just adopt a cleaner environment, using the dock and Finder's sidebar, placing the object in the correct folders in your home folder? It's a little silly.
