It's funny that you are talking about volunteering. I volunteer at a men' s shelter and i was going from door to door for food donations for their thanksgiving. It was hard but i'm not quite done yet. They don't even know that I'm doing this. Can't wait to see the looks on their faces:)

OMG....I thought my resume was long!! Angela's "takes the cake".....pun intended.  You did all of those jobs while you were 300 pounds!! I can't imagine you had enough energy or motivation to do so many things while being so heavy! Amazing! Very cool video, guys.....I'd like to do some traveling/volunteering.....sou­nds like an adventure.

My sister is doing the charity calling thing now as a job, and she is in uni, she just got the job :) She seems to enjoy it. She is taking rhetorics so it seems like a suitable job for her though :)

Oh, another good resource is the Fellowship for Intentional Communities, they have a website and a magazine. Many places there that have formed communities and they are all listed on the website too. You can post ads also in the reachbook and also people who have a community with an opening post on there, also.

It's really good that you two are talking about this because as you know, in the US so many are unemployed and they need some ideas about thinking outside the box for work/survival. I've always been an outside of the box thinking kind of person, too. Thanks again.

BABA is not his nickname, it is an expression of sudden surprise or exclamation if Matt wants to say or does something strange... I know the expression from other people in India, who pronounce it in such situations.

oh angela you are me! i had many strange jobs, lived in many places and drank too much and ate weird starchy carbs to soak it up too. virgo in chart also...were we escaping something? i like to think we were hunting for life experience and we got plenty of it :) i'm so grateful for these videos...and better food choices :) xx

@rayme4raw for one thing you don't have to be able to afford to volunteer, the company wishing you to volunteer pays your expenses you just choose where you think you need to be. I love that Angela has a wealth of experience by GIVING her own time.

I know i find the 'BABA' really cute, but omg, you are absolutely incredible! To know that you didnt capitalise on any of that profit is such a nice thing to do. Id love to volunteer but does it cost much =/
