Just saw "bubble netting" in person in Juneau last week with a pod of about 14 whales. Amazing. Boats are not allowed to get within 100 yards of the whales though. I would have loved to get a closer look at these amazing creatures... but some of these boats are getting too close and breaking the law from what I understand.
