Nice! I kill my back every time I lug my 4x10 goliath and 750x around...so thinking of making a switch to this setup (2x10 + headlight) as a smaller gig set up. is the GOLIGHT 4x10heaps lighter than the 'normal' goliath?
@markthode Yeah! It's about half the weight and sounds just as good! Definitely worth the switch, I can carry this one up and down stairs by myself. Never going back...
@markthode My Goliath III weighs 89 lbs. The Golight 410 weighs around 55 and the Marcus Miller is around 51,52. Check out SWR's website for the review of the Golight in Bass Player. I'm making the switch asap.
@markthode thanks for the demo. i use a MM jazz too! im really considering getting the headlite / swr cab. 2 x12s or 4x10s? the 10s sound good but i wouldnt mind that extra warmth / growl of the 12ths.
Very cool man - However, i think your bass needs it's looked Intonation. I'm thinking of getting a SWR 2 x 10 and 1 x 12 go light - what are your thoughts?
@dudelben2 Not directly, but you can connect it to one and then daisy chain them. The result is pretty much the same, but you have to make sure both cabinets are 8ohm since the Headlite is 4ohms.
