this is not just a shooting game like counterstrike where they but u in the small room 10v10 and go go. it is like a real life war shooting and strategy simulator that means for most of the time u will not see epic battles but buttles happen often and in different cities at the same time because there is only 1 server 1 west-europe map and lots cities and players on it at the same time 24/7

your comparing a game with no true strategy other then running around in a tiny little map with a small amount of people doing the EXACT SAME THING every fking time. And a game where you take commands, ALL fight on ONE server, with so many people the same thing never happens twice

I'm sorry to have to say it but this is potentially the best but actually the worst game I've ever played. Spies on both sides, bad player attitudes and appalling connectivity issues coupled with ridiculous issues such as randomly placed pixels with infinite mass that kill you out of nowhere when flying at 17000ft in mid-air and all kinds of other impossible problems make this an exercise in masochism not fun. Avoid it for at least another 10 years. Put your $14 a month elsewhere.

spies? maybe, but it doesn't affect the gameplay or the fun factor. I've never actually seen proof of spying, but only a couple times have i seen someone go crazy on side cus they think they saw someone spying or such.

Lol :oD I had some great memories from around end of 2008 going into spring 2009 there were some ace players there we did loads of fb hops in a ju52 using the odd lone fb hitter's resupply truck for re-arm (if we were lucky enough to spot one) or resupplying at a town. I think the best was a 2 hour plus sortie with the same ju were we blew up 5 fb's in a row! Most of those good players seem to have gone though :o/

With Battleground Europe you pay extra for the better gameplay. No other game released offers this much gameplay. It has the most players online, the biggest play area and some of the best teamwork. BF1942 or COD can't compare with that even with much better graphics. Gameplay is more important than graphics.

Because no free to play game or even pay to play game. has anything like the features of this. BattleGround Europe has much more simultaneously online than almost any other fps; more vehicles, weapons, the largest playing area. Most importantly, no other fps has this level of teamwork and commitment to gameplay.

Mann BF2 is for hyped up 8 year olds. BE Is a full, and only virtual battlefield in the world. With a High Command commanding armies of thousands of real players through one of the biggest worlds in an FPS. You won't find another game like this. It's truly a revolutionary game. If you want more info, just ask me, the game goes deeper then you could probably imagine.

This game has it all for someone who enjoys massive teamwork to achieve a common goal ; to blow up a bridge, clear out the enemy from a section of town, ect.

If you would have kept up with the COD series, you would have spent around $300 on all the call of duties, not including thier spin-offs. And if you're gonna go get, yet, *sigh* another one of their games, add 60 more bucks to that. For the same amount you could play this game for almost 3 years with the yearly subscription plan.

ww2ol must be the greatest game out there.

All that moves are other players, only has some few static AI defence guns here and there.

All battles are unique, sometimes they can last for days, other times they are over in just a second.

This game is worth the subscription money.

Maybe you will not get non stop shooting action like in counterstrike but once you get into this world you will feel its real: strategy, planing, support, set ups. Not every day but often you can find epic battles. Its impossible to explain uniqueness of this game. Until you actualy join this world and understand whats going on and learn at least essential basics you will not see how this game is different and unique of all other shooting games.

I've been playing this game since april 2004 and still playing it.

you obviously were a private in the game and thats alright you didnt like it because of the realism is what you are trying to say. and the squads are very much in power as most squads have a co or xo in the hc. so squads taking over towns on their own is still going on the other week 5 of us took a fairly large town because we had a decent squad.

And this is how the game play is played. The video's come from players. Dont let this tool make you turn away from the game. The game has a HUGE learning curve, but its worth it. No game out there like this. Best advise for a new player...join a squad to get training and to learn the game faster. Everything is realistic (Tanks weak spots, Speed of tanks, engine noises)

It's not free, its a montly payment or a payment plan over 3,6 and 12 months. The more prepay you get (ie 12 months) the more rabate you get.
