  • Excellent job! Our worship band plays this song as well, and there is lot I can add to my playing by studying what you do on this song.

  • @MrMike3865 Thank you. That's what I like to read, that other drummers find my videos useful in learning.

  • Thanks, keep posting.

  • @MMonreal Sure, God willing, I will.

  • Sal:

Another great piece of work, I stumbled on this one on auotplay while I was doing some paperwork. Really nice groove and fills. We have a Roland TD20 at the Big House.

We obviously need to upgrade to the new sounds but that unfortunately doesn't include your abilities .You make it look so easy !! Investing in an IPAD to be able to practice to your videos on the kit. God Bless you for sharing with us

  • @hamlin205 Thanks so much for your kind comments. It's a blessing that my videos serve other drummers. It is easy once you know how and have been doing it long & frequent enough. God bless the work of your hands & feet. Thanks again for watching.

  • I love the sound at 1:09 that fill is awesome especially with your set!

  • @magicja Thanks for sharing that. .

  • trying to figure out the linear pattern you play during the chorus...can you help me?

Looks like the you are playing the bell on the "an's" and steady 4 on the bass?? the rest of it happens too fast for me to count and watch! Thank you.

  • @jimwade47 Yes, that is correct. The other notes are 16ths and fall on: uh-(1)-e, uh-(3)-e. I'm sorry but this is very difficult to explain in a written language. The best way is notated in standard drum set notation which I'm unable to do here. Download the video then import into iMovie, slow it down, then export it, then play it.

  • I like the bridge and chorus. The way you play it. And when you play on roland.

  • @ianling1988 Thanks a lot, and for sharing your comments

  • that is an amazing electric drum set dude!!!!

  • Dude you have to show the snare part in slow-mo man. I've tried it but can't figure it out. Nice drumming! ˆ_ˆ

  • @sandmonstro Thanks. The snare part in which section?

  • It starts at 2:50

  • @sandmonstro It's a 1/16th note march-like rolling thing where in put accents on the "uh" of 1 and the "and" of 2 and the 4th upbeat.

  • nicely dude the only thing i don't agree is your Beatle's hat!!!! God Bless everyone!!!

  • @myDiosmiAmor It's just a hat, there's nothing to agree on, don't let it make you stumble. God used what The Beatles came up musically by employing it in contemporary praise songs, such as melody, song structure, beat patterns, harmonies, etc., etc, yes!, The Beatles are an influence on Christian musicians of which I am one. Remember, "God loved the world..." (Jn 3:16)

  • Dude, you rock!

"praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD."

  • @Paiste24 Wow, thank you for your encouraging comments. God bless you brother.

  • You have a real nice touch for this song and good strong style. I hope you are playing regularly (Worship Team etc) and not keeping your talent at home. It would be a waste. My Worship team will be doing this song again this week. The fellowship gets into it. Rock on little Brother!

    Plumbadrumma

  • @Plumbadrumma You are very kind, thank you. Yes, I do play regularly in church, some months more than others. It's actually part of my job description as a staff employee at the church. God bless the work of your hands and feet brother. Thanks for checking it out.

  • What type of electric is that? It seems like they are doing a great job of making some that really sound good! I don't like electronics because they usually sound horrid. But they are easier to set up and everyone gets to hear a better quality sound as long as the set you are using sounds good. Thanks.

  • @greensold It's Roland V-Drums TDW-20 module w/TD-12 pads triggering VExpressions settings. Thanks for watching.

  • God Bless brotha!!! very nice!! me plays electric drums too!! weeee!!

  • Nice touch @ 4:16 tru 4:19

  • as always, thanks for your encouragement and for listening.

  • Another great one! i agree with (bradb1973) like the way u play the chorus.

  • Great cover of this song-love the upbeats during the chorus. Kit sounds awesome. My band is doing this one soon-this helped alot!

  • That is great that this video can help you in learning the song. It's my intention that these videos are tutorials. Praise God! Thanks so much for listening.
