He left out crucial detail, like how most black villages were forced to sell their people and how blacks in the south were not fair treated. @verticalmatt the typical russian and chinese was a bounded serf to his aristocratic master and ultimately the emperor-tzar for a lot longer than african american were slaves and lived in worse conditions. when they finally abolished serfdom (in russia and china) they replaced it by communism. serfdom not to the emperor but to the state. african americans gained full freedom between 1776 and 1960s, russian serfs (that is all russians but the aristocracy) gained some freedom between 1861-1990

I don't have the book on me and I hate to use wikipedia but "Arabs also enslaved substantial numbers of Europeans. According to Robert Davis between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by Barbary corsairs, who were vassals of the Ottoman Empire, and sold as slaves between the 16th and 19th centuries."

Nigerian and Cameroon people in my opinion have beautiful facial bone structure often with high cheekbones and sometimes lighter skin. Some Freedmen were like serfs to native nation, while some fully intergrated with the native population. I do agree that yeah there is a lot of euro blood in american blacks. I personally believe mutation markers occurred before humans left Africa and migrated back and forth in what was once a super continent (Africa and Europe). Berber are indigenous to the North African region and most of them identify as "white" yet they have one of the many varied faces indigenous that make up Africa. Color isn't important. Aryan language means Iran, Ireland, and India.

He used a small sample of celebrities who thought they were mixed with Native blood but weren't/he then used this to justify that all blacks were not mixed with Native blood/which in my case and others that are Lumbee Indians and Seminoles it is not the case.I still enjoyed this post m found it very informative, although I already knew alot.

I don't have the book on me and I hate to use wikipedia but "Arabs also enslaved substantial numbers of Europeans. According to Robert Davis between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by Barbary corsairs, who were vassals of the Ottoman Empire, and sold as slaves between the 16th and 19th centuries."

In North Africa (completely different culture) there was an abundant of white people (around 2.5 million) that were enslaved thousands of years ago. Black people has suffered with violence since slavery started and this violence goes on because their general social condition is not good even today.
