Nope no stripped servos. Both rudder servos tested out fine (Titanium gears). The flight log from the receiver showed the servos deflected at a large angle.
I'm sure it looks like that, but it wasn't over controlled at all. I'd be glad to send you the radio log off the onboard receiver. The left and right ailerons should never be doing non-symmetrical throws no matter what your thumbs are doing.
It didn't look as if the rudder was locked over very far -- surely you could have held it with ailerons. Did I see you try to push some down in at the last minute as she went through inverted? When my 90" Extra 330L snap-rolled on me as I pulled into a harrier at about six feet above the deck, I was lucky enough to get enough down in that it simply turned into a single rotation of a rolling harrier. Scared the pants off me though.
Thx for the comments. No, it didn't lock too far, but the rud on this Ulti is huge! The log from the RX, showed the TX freq drifted and the # of valid frames to the RX went from 38 to 15. The ailerons began to go crazy (wing rock). Half of the plane should always be in sync with itself the servos were out of sync. Also, the left and right wings did not mirror each other. Finally the rudder locked 15 degrees off center and it began to loop. I did try adding full down, but to no avail.
sweet plane! did the servo lock up because of the tail touch...I've had servo locked up before because I hit the rudder up against a car door...and when I power it up, the servo's just dead locked.
Thanks! No, the servos tested fine after the crash. I thought the same thing after the crash though. They are Hitect's top of the line 5955 titanium gear digitals and certainly should take a good bump. The RX log confirmed that the RX actually did command the servos to throw - I wish it commanded the servos to do what my thumbs told them to do!!

It looks to me like you over controlled it and put it in. It seems the poor radios are getting the blame these days!
