Hi dude, nice cover as always. Just a little question: don't you think you're skipping a double beat on the bass drum during pre- and chorus? I'm just asking this since I'm practicing this song to play with my Strokes cover band and I should get the straight drum track as it's played by Fab. Any suggestion? welcome back kid! question though, the hi-hat floor tom pattern you did, is that what you actually hear on the album or what you saw him do live? b/c i dont hear the floor tom being hit during that on the album just the bass, but live i see he does it and i assumed he changed it live.

@vyce51 Excellent question. I'm absolutely positive he added the floor tom live because on the album it's clear he's just playing the hi hat during that part. However, I decided to modify it as well because it was so much more challenging and sounded more interesting.

@Hahnmaestro Hm, could be, but I doubt it! I have another theory actually. Answer me this first: if you concentrate on the snare and the drumstick playing it, does it look out of sync? and when I play the crash cymbal?

@leperm Well, yeah I think it does, but only a matter of milliseconds. If you look closely at the snare hits (for example) starting at 2:04, you'll see it's a bit out of sync. No big problem really, but haven't noticed any delay in any of your other vids! And trust me I've watched em all ;)

@Hahnmaestro Yes, you're right, there's a slight delay. I've noticed that too. Lately I've been having sync probs with my camera and I tried my best to correct it when editing the video but fucking youtube even delays it MORE than it already was so the result is a slight delay on the second half of the video. It has happened to me with other videos as well.

I remember tryin to play this a while back and couldn't figure it all out. I have a hard time figure out the drum part to songs, especially when there is a alot going on. Do you have any tips or do you just need to have super ears?

@Auldwin1 Train your ears till you look like Spock!!! Just kidding, try using headphones and focusing on certain parts of the kit that's playing that song. Por ejemplo, try to follow the bass drum the whole time, or the snare (always the easiest to follow), etc. I sometimes also use my stereo in some kind of a "karaoke" mode that usually brings the background parts forward so I can hear them better. Does that makes sense?
