Unions use collective bargaining to get higher wages. I know of no Union that works for Minimum wage. Minimum wage is used to help workers that are not unionized. The Coal miners were on strike in 1902 not 1933. If you can prove me wrong show me. I'll be glad to take a look at what you find.

Why do you assume the government must do something for you? Don't you know that's what caused the problem in the first place? Out of control spending means businesses are afraid to hire because of future tax increases. The government needs to get out of the way and stop spending on all of their departments.

If you receive welfare, unemployment, or do not pay taxes for more than half of ANY election cycle (local, state and federal) then you absolutely cannot cast your vote for an elected official because time and again you are going to be supporting the people in government who are going to use government to support you.
