@Boncrek...maybe try and tweak the contrast and saturation on your footage and then mess around with the sensitivity values. I did a short film using toonit and i had to keep changing values shot-to-shot. I dont think there is a fixed set of values that would create a good result. hope that helps.
hmm i saw a movie in Canal+ which was made with this effect.. or it looked really similar to this =P

Hello,
After Effects + Red Giant Toon it.
Try to fix your footage using color correction plug ins (curves and levels) when you finished apply the red giant toon it plug in.

this effect will never look like the real thing... or at least it doesn't now.

What exactly were you testing...whether you could get the video onto youtube? You did it...success! Congratulations!

hey there.
I have toon It, just wanted to know what values you used to get that look.
Also, what quality and type of footage did you start with because mine isn't turning out so good.

sorry but i dont remember the values. Try to fix the color with curves and levels (gamma) before use the toonit.
when you finish your render, use the same footage and apply the toonit again.
i recorded with a canon xl2.

Thanks for responding.
I guess what really matters is the quality footage i put into Toon It to begin with...it makes a huge difference!
