actually, spiders would not find a human body or the human hair a suitable place to lay eggs...plus it doesnt lay eggs with its mouth. also, if it was laying eggs(which takes several hours)not only would he wake up before it was finished, but it would have to stick an egg sac in the bite wound...that isnt possible

Coming from the medical field I can tell you that what you had does not resemble a spider bite. A lot of people come into the ER claiming they have a spider bite, 9 out of 10 times it's either and ingrown hair or a boil. Your looks like an ingrown hair and it will keep coming back if you don't get all of the infection out.
