@lindarmusic Your claim sounds really odd to me. Aerts has severe trouble keeping up with todays fighters. Overeem generally shreds them. Anyone in their right mind will agree Overeem is a better fighter than Aerts is today. Aerts had a lot of trouble defeating Teixeira, Overeem demolished Teixeira in one round.

This year's K1 world GP final will probably be Schilt vs Overeem.

This quote was a month ago and The more I look at it Overeem is fdar more of a threat in k-1 then mma. I think That Aerts is done with is why i said hail mary. I just don't think overeem can out muscle Semmy the way he did aerts. Then I saw semmys last fight and he looked awful!! I just found out he is 37 years old!!!!

If k-1 is done then mr. k-1 winning the last gp would be a perfect end to an era but I now have got overeem winning.

Im from Holland, but I dont like the way Semmy is fighting. Just using his length and power (he's verry good in karate though) not real atractive for the game. He just listens to his coach who tells him exactly what to do: in the end the coach screams "achterwaarts" wich means, an spinned kick..and so he does..a bit lame, but he wins.

Its listed as TKO because it HAS to be, but I see you do not understand that exhaustion is not an actual TKO. Do you even know about fighting? Hunt was not knocked down (KO or TKO) from a strike.

When u can't get up and continue the fight it is a tko/ko. Either way if it's a forfeit that would be even worse...

thanks for the input, but we were actually discussing hunt's fight with jerome le banner in the 2002 paris GP, when hunt's corner stopped the fight between rounds because hunt was exhausted.

this fight with schilt ended with a brutal body shot, was obviously counted as a ko. but the count was just a bit fast, don't you think?

What intelligent argument do you want? When a fighter can continue the fight but he doesn't want it's a forfeit, like Golota did in the match with Tyson. When he cannot continue it's a ko or tko. Period. ;)
