I see it unfair to consider an Americans wife illegal and deport the spouse while they take 6months - 2 years to decide if your in love. Now that your spouse is deported and they do decided 2 years latter your wife is your wife, you have to wait years to get her back to the USA.

it's certainly a problem...wouldn't your case about the "illegal wife' and the years it takes to get papers be better with a simple work visa to allow things to work out? simple idea but the politicians don't like it...thanks for the comment!

I'm latino and I agree with soap... about no more illegal gang members...also with kackddeal on work visas...I believe the US should only give out visas and citizenship to those who are 100% fluent in English, know this countrys history n are doing something productive in the US. There are many Mexicans, Salvadorians, Colombians, Hondurians, etc...who work the yards, retaurants, etc then gangbang, shoot, rob, deal drugs, drink & drive n speak no english n they wonder y people dont like 'em

thanks for the comments...Work visas would help stop the flow of gang members across the borders...ask yourself why can't the most powerful nation on Earth do that? BTW, during the 1940's there was the Bracero program which did give workers permits for a limited time...

You have to understand that the policy of immigration has failed, it's not the immigrant who fail is the policy. The experts call this process as "acculturation" which is the process what put the immigrant to work for the new system what adopted him/her, that's is a policy in Europe. In Spain for example along the ocean they have a small places where the immigrants learn spanish and a new skills...IF A COUNTRY DO NOT HAVE THIS IS OUT OF SHAPE IN THE MATTER.

It is time for a complete change in American and this means Obama too!

Get rid of all the corrupt politicians and start fresh with officials who listen to the American voters.

Deport all illegals! Give them nothing free. Stop educating and feeding them.

Emergency room treatment only for life threatening emergencies and send them back home where they belong.

If they want to be US citizens, then they must stand in line.

thanks for the note and comments!  wouldn't it make more since to issue work visas? Congress can't even do that...most of the illegals I know pick strawberries or lettuce...jobs most Americanos will not do...how hard can a simple, temporary work visa be?
