  • My favorite plane ever. Love hearing the glass rattling roar. When my Dad was stationed at Kadena, Okinawa, they were in and out all the time. God Bless SAC.

  • a low rider

  • @MarcusKiner so you really want to save my ASS heres what you do

take one of your precious guns , cock that bad boy lob it in your gob and squeeze mother fucker squeeze till all the pain and suffering just sprays on the wall .. along with yah head !

  • @MarcusKiner if people like you did not exsist the world would be a much better place ... and i know guns have saved us from the likes of hitler and pots

But its people with the same mentality as you joining in with fights and creating weapons in the first place that cause this shit ... is less people join in war then soon enough its gowing to be 2 guys arguing on what they dont agree on leave them to it let them harm one another instead of joining in and harming millions more you prick !

  • @MarcusKiner Please tell me how your keeping me ''alive'' i think you will find my brain controles my bodily functions

Why would i do something as stupid as join in a fight that doswent concern me for that matter dosent concern anyone

We all share the same rock falling through space and guess what it was here 63 million years before any humans so why do 'so called ''humans'' like yourself think you own the right to blow holes in it ?

ill tell you coz yourselfish and dont use your brain

  • @vapana3000 its not that hard of an answer some people are morons and choose to join in army battles a mean without army we would be nowere such as ww2 we would be under the rule of hitler had he not been killed but wars today are about money and welth , and people are dumb enuf to join in a fight that noone really understand what its about .... and the black smoke coming from the back of this aircraft is because miltary jet a1 is different to civilian its no more poluted than average fuel

  • @SleepEat3D Nobody is going to listen to the idiot that can't spell, and pulls bull shit out of his ass. Why don't you join the service you coward, instead of talking down to the 1% that keeps your pathetic ass alive.

  • AINT 50'S PLANE A BITCH?

  • Pilot: Yeah Finally I can do that on FSX, now make it real !

    Co-Pilot: Do What?

    Pilot: THIS !

    Co-Pilot: @%(*#%)#

  • You're right Rage..; It's too late, we (the humanity) have done to many wrong things on this earth. Can't explain it clairly in English (Spanish, italian, french or dutch should be more easer for me).

I Think that the people have to start to think, do we live on correct way without beeing perfect? All those wars, financial problems, cultural... why are we the only leaving animal on earth to have those problems?

    Why does countrys exist?

Big question but difficult to answer.

  • @vapana3000 The global elite world bankers do not like countries to exist without their money controlling everything(like wars and economical manipulation).

Maybe you should support the independence of a country instead of questioning why it exists. Where is your loyalty to your people? This is not a big question. It is simple.

  • Does this airplanes still participate in wars? If not, I think it's time to keep them on the ground, there's enough pollution in the air. Children are hungry even in USA, why spend money for this kind of meeting's?

I'm not a pilot, just an airplane fan but please better think to our earth than on our pleasure...

  • @vapana3000 Maybe instead we should get rid of professional sports. Just think of all the money and fossil fuel that goes into that. Really, all recreation should be banned, and we should all just sit at home. By the way, I know that black soot from the B-52 looks bad, but it's actually carbon that will stay bound and fall to the ground. It's the stuff you can't see that causes all the problems. Take care.

  • My brother was in vietnam, and witnessed this plane on bombing runs,he said the earth shook when the B-52 let loose. nothing survived the raid.it would level trees ffor miles.he said it was awesome to see. i wouldn't want to be charlie when the bombs landed

  • @ron2ocean true victor charlie cant hide in trees

  • sorry about the typo

  • @Earssss You're probally just a kid trying to act like he know's what he's talking about on youtube, your pathetic - It's so embaressing just to talk with you, must be hard for you knowing that your dreams and goals will never succeed, pathetic.

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss You must love your life, having to lie about your job on the internet - what are you really? cleaner at walmart? p.s. australia is way better then canada, sad kid.

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss You're tone of text has changed to a giant troll fest because you have been spotted out being a lier, and I'm not 95, im 15.

you just got owned by a 15 year old, how pathetic.

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss You're a canadian and are showing no proof of being a pilot, other then saying an airforce base's name, and then your claiming to have flown american planes, and your english is terrible

  • Pollution is what comes out of the minds and hearts of complete idiots that think they have the right to write like sardines rotting in sunlight. Never was their ability so rewarded as to see their animal faculties rewarded in print, as well as for the world to observe their brilliant, stinking venom. And, so these geniuses go their way thinking how they have left no trails of pollution behind their pitifully ignorant lives, while their pants are full of that stuff horses leave behind them.

  • Сильная машина! Во все времена и народы...

    Но Мрия.....

  • bigest plane cargo

  • This looks like a miss approach, NOTICE the speed brakes up on the first flyby.

  • @basimpsn I agree with you...

  • Comment removed

  • speed breakes up?

  • We don't have to get that close, the nuclear cruise missiles would decimate Russia before our planes cleared Canada...Don't mess with them, they're old but they can take out a Continent

  • @justas7463 Uneducated fool, this produces less pollution then an average sedan, all its burning is air and some fuel.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss as aposed to using a Truck or Boat the carry the same payload over that range would be more.

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss

the question is pollution, not fuel consumption

an average sedan burns al fuel emiting mostly carbon out of the exhaust, do this with about 30-50 car's per square mile and you've got yourself a polluted suburb.

the average jet burns jet fuel with air, creating a mixture of hot air and carbon out of the nozzle, this is spread throughout the atmosphere, 5 jets throughout 50 square miles is nothing compared to the cars.

  • Comment removed

  • @Earssss Pollution is a build up of Emission per Square whatever, not what's emitted.

5 or 6 jet's polluting an area 50 kilometres square is nothing, NOTHING compared to 30 to 40 thousand car's in a city the same size.

  • Comment removed

  • @justas7463 get over it

  • @justas7463 go hug a tree.

  • @justas7463 its ok im not ignorant as fuck, that is alot of pollution.

  • @JustAGhosty Could you imagine if Russia tried to touch us in the cold war? I could imagine 400 of these things just flying over russia and BOOOOOOOM

  • @Berserkedy Russia has the best missiles and anti-craft systems in the world. S-400 and now S-500 can both see stealth and shot down from 500-90,000 ft. I doubt many would get through to Russia.

  • @6630mcdo the U.S. can easily penetrate any radar system.who do you think supplied iraq with radar? they never knew the stealth fighters were comming.can't hit what you can't see. it's ok to dream. i think if you search for the truth, you will see the russians supplied most of the weapons to the middle east. look what Israel did to russian planes.

their planes are far behing the western countries.

  • I wonder how many parts fell off wen it did that. They are old but they get the job done.

  • Dyess, I mean. I did have a brother at Carswell.

  • OutStanding! Nothing like those 8 engines screaming as they fly over! Loved seeing them while I was in the U.S. Air Force. Best military jet ever!!..and I had a sister stationed at Carswell,AFB...home of the B-2!

  • Looks like a beast....Sounds like a beast!!!!

  • Do I see spoilers up?

  • @ichirofan7 Yes. G and H models only have spoilers for roll control, and normal landing configuration is full flaps and airbrakes 4, just what you see here.

  • I used to live about half a mile away from where the B52's came in for fixing.. as like haters I was def :(

  • Dear Boeing, I have a complaint to make. Your bat winged looking plane just out of nowhere flew over my house and now I am deaf. I am now worried that this will happen to many others. Could you please change the engines to 4 quiet propellers?

  • @stoopidhaters 8 engines bro (cause 2 are next to each other), which means 8 quiet propellers

  • @stoopidhaters Dear stoopidhaters, Boeing is not going to read your comment and you're lieing anyways. That "bat winged looking plane" keeps America safe. Maybe you should complain to the Air Force and Navy while you're at it. Tell them you don't want them protecting our country anymore. Quit lieing and trying to get sympathy.

  • @Runningfromjones777 - Wouldn't count on it. I have over 3,000 hours flying D's & H's (including 158 combat missions in Vietnam) during the late '60's & 70' and I firmly believe the old adage that "...the last B-52 pilot has not been born yet" (in 2011). As long as we still have manned aircraft going into combat, this bird will be there.

  • @24110541 why the plane engine emitting a lot of black exhaust?

  • I can't believe I'm going to be 56 when they stop flying this plane. I'm 24 right now.

  • Awesome

  • Very nice video, thanks for sharing.

  • A very distictive sound and an impressive peice of kit after all the time that has passed since its conception, yes. American airpower is the best, but I truly believe that the US needs not to rest on it's laurels because of they do then China will begin to finalise the inevitable catch-up game.

That said, who knows what's up in the Skunkworks labs right now? I'd like to believe the US have something up their sleeve, but I'm just not so sure.

  • @mikester1290 Thanks for the foreign support. It is rare enough these days. Good luck with the RAF's budget, too. Nimrod, Harrier, Tornado, and F35B are in danger. Hopefully your government will persevere. No matter the state of your military, though, "There will always be an England". If need be, we will send over Chuck Norris to assist.

  • This is intimidating. The bombs dropped by them are just awesome. This plane is still valuable. Love to see them circling like biirds looking for prey. American air power. Second to none.

  • And you wonder why those gooks in Vietnam, went running into their rat holes.

  • Hey, wait. Itsn't Abbotsford a bible town in Canada, near Vancouver? What a B-52 doing there?

  • @DefenderOfLogic Whatever in damn well wants to. LOL

  • One day we were quietly working in our metal farm shop in Eastern Colorado when the ground began to shake and one of these B-52s suddenly flew over at treetops level. Nearly shit my pants right there.

  • Chuck Norris forgot to open the bomb bay.....

  • Thank you Orville and Wilbur.

  • @MICKEYMIN2 couldn't agree with you more! I lived just over the Texas line from Shreveport I would see one every other day or so. Man the feeling of knowing those planes are less than 60 miles from you makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside haha!

  • i lived in Shreveport/ Bossier City ( Barksdale AFB) and at least one B52's was always in the air ( I think nowadays its not necessarily 'armed and loaded') prolly for training pilots. Anyway I loved the sound of security passing overhead sometimes about ever 15-20 minutes or so. It was strangly relaxing

  • soo that was the plane use in the cold war to drop NUKES.

  • @Rychardson15 They didn't use nuclear weapons in the Cold War :)

  • @HokieFanatic1 but they did use Atomic Bombs is almost the samething... what about the one drop on Hiroshima Japan.

  • @Rychardson15 Yes Atomic Bombs were used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki... but that was WWII... not the cold war.

  • @HokieFanatic1 yeah yeah true i forget it.

  • First SAC bomber to circle the globe. Just to piss off the politburo, I suppose...

  • Best bomber in history.

  • Approaching 60 years of proud service...Amazing!

  • Why didn't he land?

  • @Euroliite It's called touch and go's, A practice if you will.

  • @Koko54545 I know that, except he didn't do the "touch" part. I didn't know they had practices of touch and go's, considering its used to practice landing.

  • @Koko54545 I know that, but the pilot didn't do the 'touch part'. A touch and go is a practice landing, but it does have different uses that I don't know of I'm sure. It just didn't occur or make sense to me that you would practice a practice, if you get what I mean.

Of course, the approach may have been bad or the pilot messed up something so they decided not to land, but I don't know.

  • Abbotsford, I was born there!

  • They did an interview not too long ago with a 3rd generation B-52 pilot. The Officer's Grand father had flown one of the very first ones to come off the line. He was joined in the cockpit by his father.. and in his arms.. his boy.

Hope the old girls are still flying by the time he gets his shot. What a story that would make.

    Wonderful plane.

  • Now that is a wingspan

  • I packed deceleration parachutes for these bad boys at Minot afb 86-96 at the Survival Equipment shop. During my career and all the aircraft I've worked with, the B-52 is my favorite. Minot AFB 5th Bomb Wing, "86-96" retired 2006 as MSgt

  • @hsharrott I'm currently a Crew Chief at Minot AFB 5th MXS. It's an honor working on this aircraft.

  • Those are just COOL planes!!! Great video and excellent quality!

  • He's done that before, hasn't he! :-)

  • Tail # 0046, I've been on this plane, I was an EWO on them at Ellsworth AFB 30 years ago.

Funny how you remember things, I recall the numbers of most of the B-52's I was on.

  • I used to live next door to a B-52 base in southern California and I can remember many times when it was very difficult to speak to someone on the telephone because the 'water-hog' engines were so noisy as the planes went rumbling by on take-off. Today, they use turbo-fan engines which are much quieter and less smokey too. The 4:00AM wake-up all from the BUFFs was a daily occurrence back then. I sort of miss it though...

  • Hyper-lethal aircraft engineering at its finest. Hey, Osama, did you hear that? No, wha *BOOM* hahaha

  • The flaps were deployed, for take-off, landing and slow flight.

  • Great video! Why were the spoilers deployed though?

    Check out my videos!

  • @musico81986 On this model B 52H you only turn the aircraft by spoilers. It doesn't have Ailerons. At high speed, Wing clean (Flaps Spoilers not deployed), if you want to turn right, the right spoilers go up, left spoilers stay down. At Low speed, Flaps down, you deploy the spoilers mid way or about half. To turn right, Right spoiler Goes farther up, Left spoilers go down. In short , it's for more control at low airspeeds. You can see this in the film as the Pilot is making small corrections.

  • @jkomen I get it now, thank you! Didn't know the b52 didn't have ailerons.

    Check out my videos!

  • The things you can see hanging from the plane in the first half of the video aren't its wheels, they're the plane's balls.

  • would you see the video at 25 second !

    there is something strange !

it's cross the B52 way at high speed from the back side !

if you run the video at slow motion you gonna see two piece !

is it a birds or planes ?

  • @ombreuis and att 57 second also !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ombreuis i think that is a high flying jet

  • @draesson I am not a pilot but after my small knowledge of the physical laws a plane or flying object cannot fly without undergoing the relativity effect you can see the object going up and then to going down (see the video @ 25 and 26 second)

we see the ufo as it did not undergo the relativity effect ! for me to change the trajectory at this speed it should take a necessary a larger turning radius !

or it can be simply a video defect !

    thank you for the answer!

  • illuminati

  • BUFFS Forever!

  • @Z0ne5ive When I lived in Seattle I'd drive over to Fairchild AFB and watch them come and go all day and night. Yeah, B-2sare cool 'cuz of the stealth, but given then choice I'd take a BUFF any day of the week. B-52's Forever!!!!

  • How much ticket does this plane cost ? I want to fly in from UK to Pakistan

  • In '66 I can remember as our LST was approaching the shores of Guam a flight of about 30 B-52's approached us flying in loose formation about 100 feet off the deck and fairly slowly; their wings appeared to be flapping like birds -- the were returning from an ARC liight mission over South Vietnam, I presume.

I knew I was witnessing something really terrific and unseen since WW!!

  • What a superb landing. A real greaser

  • looks like its on a pillow

  • @superseung

thats exactly what i was thinking, when i am about to go lay down i say to myself my pillow looks just like a B-52 bomber and visa versa

  • This thing doesn't need bombs: Those eight turbines would smog you to death...talk about never passing an emissions test!!

  • it didnt have that whine to it, it sounded like a large prop driven plane, but it looked just like this, and no smoke coming off the engines

  • @12jason223 Some more recent jets (the last B-52H was built in October 1962) powered by very large high-bypass turbofans make a loud buzzing sound that might be mistaken for a prop. The USAF's C-5 Galaxy is one. I've heard some 757s make that sound too. There are a number of videos on YouTube that feature that sound. EEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWMMMMM....

  • I saw a plane fly over that looked EXACTALY like this, but it sounded like a prop airplane, what could it be?

  • @12jason223 Sounds like a Tupelov TU-95 Bear, but that's a rare isght in the U.S. Where did you see it???

  • Go freedom bird. Next time I am coming back as a Buff pilot. These look like angels. Listen to John Forde Stardance while you watch this bird glide!!!

  • LOL. I bet a ultralight can fly faster than that!

  • @phantom60504 this thing has a top speed of over 600mph

  • A real lady. Long may she fly**==

  • shut the fuck up about sand nigger terrorists

  • @KartKing4ever only on the internet that you would feel safe enought to use the "n-word"....

  • Osama Bin Laden has been dead since December 13, 2001

  • but after 9/11 i bet you were screaming for blood

  • Well your book favours terrorism you dumb shit. They went there because iraq had a contract that said they wouldn't make nuclear weaponry and they broke it. No civillians were killed.

  • @ThatEbonyChick1 First of all, Iraq had neither nuclear weapons nor chemical weapons and second of all, lots of civilians got killed, just ask the Blackwater guys..

  • Shut up sausage muncher

  • @k0nn0r: ThatEbonyChick1 is right. They sure as hell were developing nucs and were 6-10 months away from having them. beside, even though Sadman Hussein was not DIRECTLY involved in the terror attackes of 9-11, he gave AID AND COMFORT to those who were involved. In my book, that's reason enough to liberate Iraq. BTW, how many rape-n-touture motels run by Sadman & his sons are running today in Iraq? Ask most Iraqis, and they'll sing love songs about no more mass-executions. Have a nice day!

  • @SSD99

The only people who can be blamed for the 9 - 11 attacks are the United States Government..... lets not forget that it was the US government who helped fund Osama Bin Laden in the early days..... and by the time US realalised they had fucked up... it was to late......and lets also not forget that the US Government also funded Iraq in the war against Iran..... So... US foreign policy is all about funding terrorists for there own greedy needs....

  • Awsome plane. Pity about its shitty wake

  • @jonzflicks They only do that when they go slow. the smoke disappears when the engines run full.

  • That is hilarious.

Did you go to the ACORN School of Liberal Lunacy to get brainwashed into that answer?

I see ole Obumer has killed 400 already after he promised to get the troops out of the middle east.

Now, that is JUST LIKE a liberal..

  • ctenar1970

    Bin Laden raghead fears it...

He fears anything that stands up to "him" and his murdering brigade of chickenshits.

  • Not really. They have been retrofitted and are better than new. Avionics and EW are second to none. After 50 years and they are still feared by our enemies and respected by our allies.

They were and still are the BEST!

  • jonmason2354 :not gab.Bin Laden not fears it.

  • That's a FOUR story high Body you are looking at passing overhead. Standing next to them, they look like a Train with Wings.

During the 1970s, They had a problem with Crewmen falling thru the floor and getting lost in the wiring harness and trays.

They want to fly them until 2040.

Penetrating enemy airspace with an aircraft older than your Grandfather should be an adventure.

    .

  • B-52s are really easy to identify in the air....unlike most planes those have more width than length.

  • this is bad ass. gotta love the b52's.

  • Up until the late 70's, B-52 from Sawyer and Wurtsmith would do their low altitude runs just over our cabin in the UP of Michigan. We were a few miles west of a very small town (Naubinway) and right on Lake Michigan. You could hear them coming as a low breeze from the forest and we would have enough time to run out on the beach and watch them head out over the lake to the lower part of MI. The were so low you could see the crew sometimes. It was great and I really miss them.

  • Discharged SSgt 12-07-72; 379th BW (Heavy), SAC. USAF 1968-1972

Never before (or since!) have I ever met a group of men more dedicated, professional, or serious than those B52 air crews.

    SAC all the way!

  • I was stationed at Minot... I still love the Buffs. They look incapable of flight and are deceptively fast.

  • When were you stationed there? I used to live in Minot before moving to Illinois and am close to Scott AFB. I SO miss seeing the BUFFs on a daily basis, but do see them from time to time here.

  • 97-00 5th CE Fire Dept.

  • Cool. I was still there at that time! I was living there at that time and had gone to MSU. Was there from July of '92 till June of '01.

  • We lived over off of Roaming road. right behind the elementary school.

  • I wasn't stationed there and haven't been married, but had a friend stationed there, but it was before you were there. Also have had a few friends marry guys from out there. I stayed with one of them when was up there in '04, but can't remember what street they were on. Would have to find out, but want to say it was Roaming sounds familiar, but can't be for sure.

  • I was raised near the Saskatchewan- Montana border. There was B-52 base at Glasgow, Mt. It was quite sight to them take off and head North on pratice runs during the Cold War.

  • instrument of death

  • low & slow

  • it was so ugly it was awsome =D

  • Read ya loud and clear cf. Respectful greetings from Oklahoma, USA

  • buff are cool

  • If the pilot's good, see, I mean if he's reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low... oh you oughta see it sometime. It's a sight. A big plane like a '52... varrrooom! Its jet exhaust... frying chickens in the barnyard!

  • LOL at General Buck Turgidson quote.

  • Dr Stranglove lives again........ another good movie.

  • Someone PLEASE explain to me why the BUFFs turbofans always seem to emit more exhaust fumes than any other plane I've seen. Even before they changed it in the late 1990's, it always seem like the champ of exhaust fumes. Why thats?

  • Maybe it is because they are paired? You see a faint exhaust pattern from a normal turbofan, but maybe with two trails merging, it is enough to create a significant pattern.

  • love the Abbotsford air show its great i live in cloverdale so not a far drive
