  • Thanks so much for putting this up. I too love Chet and Marks version and spent forever trying to come up with my own version, but typically, could never settle on a final cut. In the end I came up with something I can't really play all that well without tying my fingers in knots. Yours is simply beautiful!

  • How can such a lovely angel play such a difficult song so gracefully?

She has a unique kind of elegant sexiness.

Like a Dutches, I feel honored to have seem her play.

I send her my respects my admiration and love as a fellow player.... a true beauty

  • Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, a very difficult song to play.I loved to see the fingers go about their business. I thought it was lovely to see you play that. I was very impressed to see the difficult finger positions that were done to get those notes. You are wonderful and I really adore you for playing this. I also love Mark & Chet. They are the two greatest I have ever seen play. Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing your great abilities. KusH XOXOXOXOXOXOX

  • I just heard this on Neck and Neck. I'm so glad I found this video. My new goal in life is to learn how to play this. Thanks!

  • You're amazing.

  • Love the song and your performance of it.

  • It sounds good ! I wish you were my guitar teacher !

    Warm Regards.

  • I hate classic guitar ... is a style without improvisation, it's only an academic interpretation. Django was a free man ...

  • playing any Reinhardt with more than two fingers is cheating lol but very good cover

  • good interprétation in la minor i llike it

  • I like your arrangement a lot :) Good job !

  • ... I'm falling for you... Jajajja, very good job!, u re great... :D

  • Well done!!

  • I think, she should give up Django...It's just terrible....Anyone that know Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler, knows that there is no one better...Excluding The Master....

  • Nice. You play this very well...

  • Fantastic, subscribed to your goodness. Going to learn this one visually, OBVIOUSLY.

  • O.K., I've been playing this song for three years, and I do it pretty well, but I love your interpretation. I love your sense or timing, rhythm, and tempo. This is some really nice guitar playing. Your making music, and I thank you.

  • Wow!

  • I wish she was my girlfriend.

  • this I will learn to play.... great.

  • such beautiful playing :) thank you

  • Great, Loved it. Loon

  • Very nice. You play with a lot of feeling and soul. Booked marked in my "Guitars" folder in the "I just fell in love" sub-folder.

Talent is even better when mixed with beauty. Play on, girl.

    Dallas

  • Enhorabuena por tan magistral interpretación del clásico de Reinhardt, intentaré localizar la partitura en la versión que tocas para poder disfrutarla en la intimidad.

  • Beautiful! You have saved me some time... I was going to try and learn this piece, but I can now see that my little finger will let my down.

Oh well, back to "the house of the rising sun".

  • @stickybun68

    Beautiful playing!

    @DRONGOBILLY

The originator was only capable of playing with his index and middle finger - Django Reinhardt.

I don't think it is your pinky holding you back...

  • beautiful! both woman and music!

  • Very nice! Thank you.

  • @jimicliche: Really? Do an artist do what he want? Maybe he sometime do what he not want because he can no do what he want?

  • BOYUUUU

  • And u like Django its just 2 much! Lovely playing.

  • I think the mood of the piece comes out even better played a little faster.

  • Wow!

  • Very good!

    Subscribed and friend requested! :)

  • very beautiful dont know what to say, any advice for a young guitarist, should i play it as it is or should i make some parts up to make it easier???

    -thanks

  • @VinceBarbo94 Thank you!Play as is, don't make up parts...Truly learning to play (and in extension, learning music) is not about making things easy to have immediate gratification or to create entertainment...:-). There's pleasure in the learning as much as there is in the performing. Ciao!

  • @stickybun68 Who decides what "as is" means? I consider Django's original composition to be "as is" which is different than how you are playing it.

  • Beautiful talented women are so much sexier, damn!

  • Such a full, warm sound. Just beautiful.

  • So good :)

  • cool~ I enjoyed

  • Tiene encanto! (ay ese pulgar) muy bien mantenido el tempo. Bravo

  • Great job !!!

  • very good job . I like done it in A- I am trying to play it in A- as well but the second part of he reef is very difficul to follw......

Congratuation ! you really feel it

Thanks to share it with all of us

  • @jondabill Hi! I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure I understand where in the chorus.Maybe you can show me where in the movie using the timing? THe first chorus, for example, is more or less between 1:04 and 1:50.

    Thanks!!

  • love this! do you have a tab for it? the only one i found seems off, finger and chords don't jibe. you play it sweetly.

  • @newriko2 Hi! Thank you very much! Unfortunately I don't have tabs, I learned it by ear.

  • Absolutely Beautiful! The music is also!

  • @dongriffithsful Thank you! It's one of my favorites!

  • One of the best tunes ever...very good job....is your guitar a TAKAMINI...? I have one made in 1987. I love it .

  • @motreby Yup... and yes, Takamine onboard preamp, bought in 2004.

  • That was beautiful! You have a feeling for it and that's not something that can be learned. Thank you.

  • @charlesenn Thank you very much! It is a song rich in emotions.

  • Beautifull,i don"t know what i mean .....Is it you,your tendernes Feeling or your Gitarplay.......its seems all together ! Super...thanks !

  • Awesome technique! Django's tears is an amazing song.

  • Hi, very compliments for your emotional's esibition, can you look me a tablature of this song?

  • stickybun,i can not imagine anything better...i know this piece very well, and i have to tell You...its the best to original.....well done...

  • Thinking at the acoustic songs from Emily Remler I play and looking at your classic chords I see how different are the jazz and classic universe in terms of chords chorus...that's nice.

  • I can just play your beautiful tunes just looking at your left hand.I get them in a short time and is more fun the reading a partiture...beautiful....thank u

  • Very soothing. Good job!!

  • Wonderful song!

    Brava!

  • Very well played, but in the wrong key. It's supposed to be in Cm. Just use a capo.

  • @darkisaac111 Thanks! Actually the version I'm playing (as performed by Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins) is in Am, not in Cm.

  • @darkisaac111 There are now wrong keys in music... just keys :-)

  • @darkisaac111 It's not "supposed " to be in any key. It "was written in Cm. Transposition is necessary, depending on what individual musicians prefer. It can be played on any instrument. If you were a performing brass band, chances are it would be Bb Comments like this to a very competent performer such as this lady are worse than splitting hairs.

  • @nosineb Thanks! And this way, in the Am key, you get to use some open string, which I think it's always a nice sound when playing classical guitar.

  • very nice stickybun68.

  • fantastic song played with great feeling

  • @fxsom Thank you! It's a piece with a lot of emotion!

  • Very nice! You play with great passion

  • Bravo! to the 4 negative peeps, go getta life.

  • @pipco88 Hey, thank you! I'm glad this could be of help!

It's such a great piece and, yes, it is cool to be a guitar player :-) but more than that, it can make you really feel good and happy!

  • @pipco88 Fuck no. You just don't come across women who play guitar as often as men. At least from my experience. Or a woman who knows good music like this one.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Great piece! You play with conviction. Very good dynamics!! I always love to hear a woman play guitar. Especially a pretty one. Thanks for the entertaining video.

    Mark

  • @ledestroyer Thank you!

  • Very well played my dear.

  • Django stuff is really challenging to play... Well done... keeping up the melancholic mood through the whole tune... thank's for sharing... :-) (P.S.: I had a great interview with guitar wizzard John McLaughlin in 2008 for a 28 minutes TV special - search with > Miles from India < on my blog site . - Do you have recorded some tunes of John ? )

  • @IMCOnAir Thanks, man! Yeah, the mood of the song resonated with me. I'm definitely gonna check your blog site. I have recorded Goodbye Pork Pie Hat in the version inspired by John Mc L., it's here on YouTube. Ciao!

  • super!!!!!!!!!!!

  • entrancing...

and yeah, as the other guy said

    you're pretty hot haha

  • Beautiful ! (TS)

  • Nice sounding guitar. Very supple arrangement. Didn't know Chet had done this one. Guess I should have assumed he did, since he did about everything else under the sun.

  • Beautiful!

  • Sposami! ;-)

  • Is this your own arrangement? Very pretty. The Song, too! Are the chords you use as 'artist intended', or as you find them comfortable. Either way, nice job.

  • @yankeeG I think this arrangement came from Chet Atkins' and Mark Knopler's album 'Head to Head'.

  • @shakeypitt Yes, it came from the album by Mark and Chet called "Neck and Neck".

    Thanks for watching!
