  • Today's music is dead.

  • Better than anything recorded in this century

  • I was always a fan of the old Motown sound.......ain't no comparison to today's Hip Hop and Rap gangster crap.

  • when all tfe singres here are gone ,that ve do you one

  • My heart is at the mercy of this song, it brings back so many memories. Real deep songs from the past still move me! Old School in the house, 1961, I am still young...yaaa!

  • One of the best songs Stevie ever did and I must admit the Andantes did an excellent backing vocals on this, I have to admit that. Lol xx

  • Such a nice song!

  • falling in love to cach song Stevie

  • Beautiful voice. Not like the garbage today. A true soulful voice!

  • How did we go from MOTOWN to AMERICAN IDOL? It just makes me tear up, just like the indian, at the pollution of our one and only world. I cry at the pollution the music corporations release : over produced tracks of vocal trash. Put one singer from 2000 against any motown singer, any, any. I promise Motown will win every single time. See you used to actually be able to feel music in your bones, thats how you knew it was something special. . . today, I never feel it in my bones. Damn Shame

  • @craig420042 Very sad indeed.

  • Love this song.

  • Ever think about the world you grew up knowing that its gone forever?

Nostalgia hurts as fuck. Im only 15 years old. I wonder how It'll feel In 60 years.

  • @mckt007 .... It hurts :(

  • Happy Stevie-giving! Blind women can sing too! And get married! Please recommend "Blind Woman's Thanksgiving Wedding" on Yahoo and enjoy :0)

  • I love this song and always thought that this was Stevie Wonder doing Ray Charles. The background vocalist sound like they were pulled from a Ray Charles session. Ray and Stevie are both genius.

  • Ron Miller! Great songwriter. (Wrote "For Once In My Life" when his daughter was born.)

  • im 15 and listening to music older than my mom and its impossible for today's music to beat this music!!!

  • @mrSTREETSTA GOD BLESS YA, KID!!!!

  • the music today is all so like, but the music at the time from the early 80's tto the 60's was all so different and, it was so mutch beautifull soul, (in the Jackson 5's case) Bubble gum pop <3

  • oh my god i love this my all time favorite song of all time god bless stevie wonder xx

  • This is so good that it makes me wanna cry <3

  • I love this song; but I cannot think of anybody that lived in yester years will want to go back. Our black brothers and sisters, Moms and Dads, Grands, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends had it tough. Love you Stevie.

  • Real music

  • I LOVE MOTOWN!

  • am 13 years old and listening most to motown hits, The jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, the supremes and Ray charles and many many more. And I love them :-)

  • @taigi98...Hey good for you! It's great that someone your age is into the "Old" stuff. I'm only 24 & like you I'm also into music from the 1960's upwards.

    Take care,

    Rich

  • Funny comparing older music withy newer music and searching for theories. The simple fact is, there was more talent in those days. This song for example is a master stroke. The reason music suffers today is because most music is bought by teenage girls who only care what the lead singer looks likes and hip hop/rap bought by middle-class white teenagers trying to look hard to they can get sex. Therefore, music producers see no need to captivate the general public with brilliant songs, only image.

  • @fuxxx21 true

  • @fuxxx21 SOOOO on point. Back then a singer could be overweight and still swoon the girls. Example is the late Billy Stewart with his great singing voice!

  • @fuxxx21 Little sexist and racist here, much? And it's "too" hard.

  • @BabeonToast He has a point, but yeah he was kinda stretchin it with the racist/sexist remarks...

  • @BabeonToast Politically correct cancer infects your low iq mind. nothing racist or sexist, just cold hard reality, the type your mother taught you to fear. Sleep well sheep. :-)

  • @BabeonToast Politically correct cancer infects your low iq mind. nothing racist or sexist, just cold hard reality, the type your mother taught you to fear. Sleep well sheep. :-) Also it was supposed to 'so hard' not 'too'. Called a typo, re-read, but nice try. Not doing much right today huh, lol/ At least you have your political correctness and nothing else!

  • @fuxxx21 Right! Only old people were buying thigns by Fats Domino, Dell-Vikings, Bill Haley and His Comets, Danny and the Juniors or another variation of (insert name here) and the (insert plural name here). This has ALWAYS existed, and just like the few true artist rose and last. The same will happen now.. You sound like the old folks from back then.

  • @fuxxx21 im a teenager and i love this song :) yeah songs nowadays suck, so easy to get bored by them

  • @fuxxx21 Yep, the level was higher in those days. There were so much good music, that every new song had to be a masterpiece.

  • @fuxxx21 how do you define talent? yeah, the times have changed, but I dont agree with ur statement "there was more talent in those days."

  • @fuxxx21 Music definitely peeked in the 60's & 70's. It seem that today the well is basically dry and you need to look back to find great music like this song.

  • GREAT SONG!

  • Music is great,love you.

  • love you:)

  • ''were just a cruel and foolish game we had to play..'' best part

  • @icefelten1 agree with you mostly there but racist cunts like u should be removed. only white teenagers, yeah? go blow your black fathers

  • @icefelten1 Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

  • @leaningright252 - Yes, it does and I'm not sure why because it really has an upbeat tempo, etc., but for some reason, it does bring a tear to my eye. I thought I was the only one who felt that way about this song.

  • @tranurse

Music is colorless, that's what makes it great....

  • @Oneida2Fairfax i agree, my husband has a theory. he thinks that in the 60's and 70's everbody listened to everyone else's music. he thinks things were better b/n people. in the 80's when people stopped listening to each other's music, it got bad again. i don't know, just a thought.

  • What happened to the world we knew...so true! Tears, sobbing (now) when we could feel the wheel of life turn our way. Whoa

  • It happened June of 1976, on stage with a guitar & a red bandana tied around my head....34 years..."when I recall what we had, I feel lost, and I feel sad; when nothing but GOOD memories of those Yester-Love and now it seems, those yester-dreams, were just a cruel and foolish game we had to play."

  • @sonwhip i can only think of two people who perform on stage with a red bandana and a guitar..... the boss or willie nelson.

  • @Davesnick I agree with you. This is a real Motown classic!

  • "I had a dream, so did you" ....that line has always struck something in me. Where did those days go, and why didn't I go with them? I sure don't belong in these sad times, that is for certain. Beautiful song by a wonderful artist.

  • I love old songs but i also listen to new songs.

The old song kinda gives you a good atmosphere when your sad or just want

to relax, and the new songs are songs i listen to whenever.
