  • George isn't gone, he's standing right in the middle! =)

  • Did Dhani sing anything at the Concert For George? That would have been awesome!

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 he was in this group...

  • @ThePeachy2 I know, but i was asking if he sang anything?

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 I don't know, just perhaps there's a post with the memorial in it's entirety?

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 I found this, if Dhani sang it should be on this!

  • the beauty of george was that he didnt care about what religion, it was all about feeling to a higher calling..it wasnt christians, or muslims, or buddhists, etc........i wish the politicians of the would figure it out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,religion isnt a bad thing if it's used right........

  • :´( HB!!

  • RIP george and billy....happy bday george harrison

  • Amazing performance! George would've turned 69 today. Rest in peace, Mr. Harrison.

  • Billy Preston is arguably the best Hammond player ever.

  • thats not Phil Collins, (although the bald head could easily be mistaken for him)..thats seasoned percussionist, Ray Cooper.......and the hot chick in the black hat is Sam Brown. She did vocals on the Great Gig In the Sky for Pink Floyds Pulse tour back in the mid 90's

  • I'm a border-line atheist and I absolutely love this song

  • Het SmashN, he paid for the right to plagerize it! $600 K. Leave the dead alone if you can't enjoy the music go listen to something else.

  • where is phil collins

  • can someone tell me why this song says: hallelluya, and hare krishna? is like, christianism and hinduism in the same song?

  • @Laykoz70 praise is praise luv,...

  • billy was the 5th beatle , just is so, he made really added depth love the man, sorry he passed.

  • Touchs people but not his song...

  • Mr. Billy Preston voice touches your soul......

  • In many ways I like this version better than Georges. Billys vice was incredible. RIP to two great men.

  • RIP Billy and George.....great version that radio just won't play....WAKE UP PEOPLE in radio....sigh....thanks for sharing this wonderful song!

  • @emwolbemwolb You make a good point! But I've come to accept that radio might not ever play music like this again ......EVER! Billy Preston does a wonderful job on this classic George Harrison song.

  • I will ignore all of the remarks that get off track. This is all about the music, and that was great music.

  • Can't even imagine how sad & pathetic ones life must be, to even want to hit the dislike.

  • @mediasmoker everyone mis-clicks sometimes lol

  • Heavenly! :-)

  • one word...wow

  • QUE ESPECTACULO!!

  • #CancionesParaFollar

  • George, positive vibration

  • clapton's like yeah sorry about the whole nailing your mom to george harrison's son

  • @mokthrakrules Eric was George's best friend over the years and did not nail George's son's mother! George was married first to Patti Boyd, who left George for Eric, but never had any children with George. George's wife of over 20 years, Olivia, gave birth to Dhani, George's only child, and was never nailed by Eric Clapton.

  • Thats Ray Cooper who has been fantastic thru his whole career.

  • MY SWEET LORD!

  • My kids (18 and 21 years old) like this even better as the original due to the voice of the late Billy Preston. RIP Billy!

  • so so lovely. billy preston is a great singer for this song. who is the bald guy with tambourine?

  • @qquark99 That's Ray Cooper. He was fantastic throughout the whole concert.

  • Que hermoso!!

  • couldn't have picked a better voice in Billy Preston for this song to pay honor to such a great artist like George Harrison.

  • Billy Preston and Eric Clapton seem like 2 of the nicest guys around.

  • me encanta la rubia corista

  • That slide guitar gets me right here every time. So beautiful.

  • I sooo loved Billy Preston - he did an awesome tribute to George - seems so heartfelt!

  • esta cancion me relaja esta muy padre

  • Billy Preston the 5th Beatle

  • @dadrunk69 y estos son los creditos completos Actors Eric Clapton Himself--Musical Director Paul McCartney Himself Jeff Lynne (II) Himself Ringo Starr Himself Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Themselves Billy Preston (II) Himself Joe Brown (III) Himself Jools Holland Himself Sam Brown (IV) Himself Monty Python Themselves Anoushka Shankar (II) Herself Tom Petty Ravi Shankar Anoushka Shankar Michael Palin Billy Preston Eric Idle Neil Innes Terry Gilliam Terry Jones Gary Brooker

  • Who plays the guitar solo? Very well done.

  • @baxterandy1 Marc Mann plays the slide. He played with ELO for a short time, plays keyboards also.

  • Pinche rola me pone la piel chinita!!! no mames! che rolota.... se paso de lanza el george

  • Loved it!!

  • Grande Interpretação desses "Novatos"

    Excelente voz de Billy Preston!!

    Amazing singers and great song!

    Beautiful Preston´s voice!!

  • i here this song ... and cry

  • This is a great version of George's song; a fitting tribute. Think Billy Preston had some gospel in his musical background? Go in peace, George and Billy.

  • Simplemente fabuloso. Soy ateo, pero esta canción es consecuente con quienes tienen esas creencias, como Harrison. Absolutamente bello y Preston es inigualable, que voz tan preciosa.

  • Nobody does it better !!!

  • Even Eric Clapton uses a capodastra!

  • @CrankCase08 Probably keeps the 12 string tuned down a whole step in D. That's what I do with mine, it keeps the tension lower and helps the neck stay straight so I capo up to play in standard E.

  • @claytonave I might just try that myself with my Vintage V300 acoustic. The strings always feel very tense near the nut.

  • who are the backing singers? great.

  • @kralle7611 don't know .but mmm her in the middle

  • I Was There That Night, Every Time I Watch This The Tingles Keep Coming Back . RIP Billy And Gary.

  • @stan8364 BAWs

  • awesome....simply awesome!!

  • 11 haters. You guys go on, keep listening to Rebecca Black...some of the worst dribble to ever plug up airwaves that should be dedicated to real music fueled by talent, creativity and musical integrity. None of which are present in her drek (look it up).

  • @quad1000 I'm glad to say that I have not got a scooby who Rebecca Black is. My sweet lord... uplifting forever.

  • @quad1000 WTF are you talking about? are you drunk? please, if you're going to post on the harrison tribute, keep your DRIBBLE to yourself and WTF is rebecca black, and what the crap does she have to do with this awesome tribute? get a grip, stupid, and get back into reality.

  • @rooneycan1953: If you DIDN'T understand what I was referring to (and that would be I was just amazed 11...now 12...people gave this clip "thumbs down" because this tribute clip is awesome and those 11...now 12...people should just go on listening to current crap like Rebecca Black), then ask the 16 people who LIKED my comment and perhaps THEY could explain it to you. Who is stupid? Welcome to my block list.

  • George's son... Looks just like his father... Like, we are getting older but George is still young. Miss you George..

  • Si, es impresionante como ha trascendido la beatlemania, y este tributo me encanta.

  • RIP George and Billy :(

  • One of the greatest hymns to Spirit ever. Thank you George, and thank you Billy and friends for bringing it home. God Bless.

  • Hermoso!!

  • per wiki, Billy met the lads during their Hamburg days, which is pre- even George Martin. If anyone deserves the title the 5th Beatle, it would definitely be Billy.

  • great voice

  • Sorry folks, no Phil Collins or Tom Petty. That's not Petty, that's Jeff Lynne. Not Collins, that's Ray Cooper. Albert Lee, Marc Mann, and Gary Brooker are there as well. Smh..

  • Greatest musicians from one of the most prolific and creative period in music performing inspired by love for their dear departed friend George. Pinnacle of the 20th century western civilization! Please confirm if you were there at Royal Albert Hall.

  • OH does this bring back memories....BEST Concert of my life. It was Magic. Pure love and celebration of a Wonderful Man. I was so lucky to go with my sister. Absolutely Fantastic!!!

  • I love this video. What an amazing group of talent coming together to honor George. I was wondering about Tom Petty's connection to George then I saw Jeff Lynne. Traveling Wilburys.

  • Phil Collins was not in this concert at all! The drummers were Ringo Starr, Henry Spinetti, and Jim Keltner

  • @JackoJim123 Henry Spinetti... younger brother of Victor, star of many a Beatles film!

  • great to see Billy Preston singing it for George. they wrote the song together

  • We should never forget that in 1974 Billy Preston visited the White House with the GREATEST FREAKING AFRO EVER. Just sayin.

  • By the way, I don't think Phil Collins appears anywhere in this video.

  • @CrowdedHouseofCats Correct, I think people are confusing him with Ray Cooper who plays percussion at the back.

  • Depends on what you mean by Fifth Beatle. Historically? That's Stu Sutcliffe or, to a lesser degree I think, Pete Best. From an "Army of Brothers" perspective, it's Brian Epstein, though Neil and Mal are certainly up there, too. Musically speaking it's no contest: George Martin. Even though Billy Preston probably got closer than anyone else to actually joining the band, Martin's musical contribution over their whole career is unquestionably bigger. Or you can say Murray the K, to be technical.

  • ¡Gracias!

  • 0,13 Pape Diouf is on stage this night...WTF

  • my brother was watching this and said: It seems like in a church

  • @UtwoOneMaster Bear in mind that the "CHURCH" is the people...Not the building. Jesus said to Peter "Thou is the rock I shall build my "CHURCH".

  • @yucchhiiowwee yeah except George didnt believe in Christianity . Nor is this song about the christian god.

  • @cjaccardi Not with words like Hari Kirshner..no it isn't...BUT before George died he came out with songs like "Got my mind set on you".

  • @yucchhiiowwee hare-krishna-hare-krishna Krsna Krsna hare-hare hare-hare-rama-rama bundle-branch-hare-hare Spanish pronunciation jare Krishna, Krishna jare, Krishna Krishna, jare jare, jare branch, jare branch Rama Rama, jare jare. [edit] Meaning
  • @rigelantares2010 Hare can be invoked (in Sanskrit) of Radharani Will, Pastor and goddess, the consort of Lord Krishna, which would mean 'that steals (love or the mind of Krishna)' .1

  • @rigelantares2010 Rama lama ding dong!!! Yeah, and your point is?

  • @cjaccardi And what is the problem my friend, if is the same GOD, AND PRAISE THIS IS A MANTRA OR HEAR MORE SONGS .. HE AND NO BAD HABITS YOU LEARNED CLOSURES IN .. Open up! BE HAPPY

  • @yucchhiiowwee

Sorry for my english. I meant that it seems as a black men's celebration. remember: my brother said that xD

  • ten years is a flash of light in the big universe that we all are a part of. peace

  • Oh, sweet George...

  • Thank you for your music George.

    Love you so much.

  • LOve it!!!!!!!!!

  • 10 years ago today since sweet George left us, and 9 years ago since this amazing venue.

  • très belle, que du bonheur !! Merci ♥

  • My love for everyone on this stage is infinite, but I gotta say: Every time these guys get together and share the stage with Billy Preston (Bangladesh, Clapton's Tour, The Concert for George) he just blows everyone out of the water, imho.
