its much better then the n97

first the screen resolution(pixels) is better

on n900 is 800 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches

and on n97 is 360 x 640 pixels, 3.5 inches

then n900's cpu is much better

on n900 is ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics

and on n97 is ARM 11 434 MHz processor

and everything else is almost the same :)

do everything in lanscape then! it's like nicer to watch videos, play games, look at pictures, navigate, surf the web and sms. potrait is just normal for like calling which u can do for the phone..

Nokia calls it a "Mobile Computer", but it's definitely a very capable phone.

There is no "Locked, unlocked" N900. It's open and open source. You can do what you want with it.

I can't find the quote at the moment, but Nokia says that they are keeping the N900 open.

Including a Gameboy, Gameboy advanced and a SNES- emulator already :) Who said N900 is not for gaming? And yes, it is and will be pretty much fully open source.
