This is spinning not dancing. Real salsa dancing involves dancing to the music not the count. Try watching some Yanek Revilla and Diana. That's real salsa dancing.

Jr and Em. are one of my favorite couples. I love her spinning technique. The difference btw this guys and world champions from Col (Col has won many championships, including the one in vegas) is that in Col, dancers have been dancing from the wumb. I mean, if u've ever been to Cali, Col; you know music is in ur ear from the time ur neighbor wakes up, to the time you go to sleep. That enviroment & that love and feeling for music is not something u can learn, is something u are born with.

They are dancing in almost perfect syncronization with the "clave". They are doing the music accents with his dancing movements, that is not an easy task taking in consideration the speed of the music. Outstandig performace!

To me this looks like a load of robotic spinning to soul-less, aerobic type music. I beggers belief that this passes off as dancing. Ice skating - without ice - maybe. Gives dancing a bad name!
