Looks like you had a good time there. Was that LA airport you got out of? Because that airport is the worlds rudest, dont listen to the people who work there, just march straight past them, thats the way I would do. I dont want to listen to their abuse.
I think I'd be glued to that map in front of you .I like statistics occasionally and it would be a great way to pass the time seeing where I was precisely as the journey progressed!
@llewesa100 I think the maps are really fascinating. The journey to the US is great, coming back not so much. At least I have a window seat reserved for the return journey!
@alanheath Yes, you're flying back in time so to speak. Can't calculate precisely ; think it's ten hours behind CET if you're in California(?)So if you left on your return journey at midday you would maybe arrive back in Europe at midday I suppose and go to bed at 2 in the afternoon! Twenty years ago I came back on a return flight from New York mid aftenoon their and arrived back in the Uk at the same time bearing in mind the 5 hour difference. In bed by 7pm and didn't rise until 2pm next day!!
@llewesa100 There is a nine hour difference but when you travel west you don't notice it. Flying east is a completely different story - it really messes me up!
