this movie is not for squeamish people like me thats for sure, but if you like horror then ok its a good movie. i just got through watching it with someone just to be polite --__-- BIG mistake....im never doing that again.

but this is just my opinion. the only reason why i say its awful is only because i had no clue it was considered a "horror" film. but if your into scary nail biting gore and stuff like that then watch this, me I'll pass.

The filmmakers missed an opportunity to do a truly gripping depiction of a 'trapped on a chairlift' scenario. Instead of doing a realistic story, they turned the film into a cheezeball clambake... Two of the characters are eaten by wolves. Um... Really? Wolves? Why not Sasquatch, or alien, or zombie nazis? If they wanted to go that route, they should have also thrown in a make out scene and a ski race with a preppy named Brad. Make it a total goof instead of a half goof. Don't waste your time.

ok.....i just find too many things hard to believe about this.

1. They don't just stop the chairlift at night. They pick a chair # and cycle the whole lift after they close it for the night and wait till that chair comes back to make sure this dosen't happen.

2. Even if this did happen by some huge coincidence i would pop off my skis, (screw it ill just pay for them, better than freezing to death) and shimmy down the lift cable. (That thing how the guy falls doing this is horror movie bs.)

I go to a ski resort where AT&T doesn't get service. It's possible. What I can't wait to see them explain is how no one is at the resort during the week. Even if skiing is closed on weekdays, snowmobiles, avalanches bombers, and snow groomers still go on the mountain.

i've jumped off a chairlift from that height. if you keep your snowboard on and land on the slope just right, you won't hurt yourself. if it wasn't slanted then it would hurt, but the slope absorbs most of the impact,... skiiers and snowboarders make jumps much higher than that every day
