I have a question, I've been wanting a bunny for a while but idk how much a rabbit would cost. could you tell me around what price range a bunny costs? And if it's like anything about taking care of a hamster?
I would NOT recommend buying from pet stores as you don't know how large they will get. I use Marchioro cages which cost about $40 ea. and scoopable Feline Pine litter which costs about $11/5lb bag here (lasts me 2 weeks per bag and I have 4 rabbit cages and a cat litterbox). I have been using cheap rabbit foot which is about $3/5lb. and lasts about 10 days (for 5 rabbits) and you can get cheaper or more expensive food. Average cost per month (aside from bunny and cage purchase) is about $10.
I had a rabbit in high school & used pine shaving litter which, a $5lb large bag (40lb I think they are), would last about 2+ months & I'd get a large 25lb bag of cheap bunny food from Walmart (there's better rabbit food out there) for about $6 & that'd last about 3 months. I'd suggest trying to find local breeders & seeing what kind of bunny you'd like so that you get a reference to how large they will get. My heaviest bunny weighs about 5lbs (from pet shop) & was very small when I got him.
lol i live in the uk and my rabbit and her 2 guineapigs cost hardly anything , hay paper shreddings and cheap food ,, realy cheap but the animals dont mind
haha i thought it grew when you went and saved it.. cause.. all the sudden there was a big white bunny there.. and i was like :| wow.. and then i saw you put the baby back :P so i guess not haha

Careful with that laptop cord, they'll destroy it in a second. And uhh...if you like bunnies so much, why call them "it" so many times?
dzemergency 4 years ago 2
I called them 'it' if I didn't know their sex at the time. What should I have called it instead? Exactly...

Nope... White one is mother and brown one is half-relative due to the fact that they're not related at all and the brown one is neutered lol.
