  • I love your trills and vibrato. Added an element that I'd never heard in Simple Gifts before, and made it much more meaningful. Very lovely.

  • WOW! THAT IS AWESOME! I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DO THAT! YOU MADE MY JAW DROP! :)

  • Great job, man.

  • i can play that song easy srs

  • Wonderful rendition of this song, thanks for sharing! I would love to get a tenor but the finger stretch is just too much for me to handle, hopefully someday I can afford one with the extra keys for small hands, but for now I'll have to be happy with my alto (which is hard enough for me!)

  • Can you tell me what kind of recorder that is? Yamaha? 304b perhaps?

  • how big is it in comparison the clarinet or the other recorder? and is that a plastic or wooden recorder that this guy is playing?

  • The tenor is twice the length of the soprano, about 30% longer than the alto. I've had all three, with the tenor the most used.

  • I finnally got my tenor recorder

  • I love your video, keep it up.

  • Hey this is awesome!!!!!!!! it's so awesome that it made me get a tenor recorder!!!!!! I am a devout saxophone player and learned most stuff on the recorder!!!!!!!! I also have an alto and soprano recorder, but tenor is much better!!!!!! I enjoy it very much!!!!! thanks for inspiring me!!!!!!!

  • Glad you were inspired to get a tenor recorder. They do have a beautiful tone. I love the tenor sax as well, and wish I played one!

  • i just been playin along to you. i play clarinet plus i got a recorder this is nice man, i really love the deep tone to these instruments and i really dont understand why it isnt used more.

a beaautiful asset of englands heritage

  • I remember this tune as "Lord of the Dance", but I prefer it at a Renaissance Festival/Faire than at church.

  • Yeah, that's the title I know it as. I thought the tune sounded familiar. I'd love to get a tenor (but am afraid my fingers won't stretch). It sounds great!

  • hoooh i play soprano i want to learn but as i been searching its the same as soprano the sound is diferent but the way to play it is the same "plase correct me if am wrong but... its like 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Right?= or A,B,C,D,G,E,F ?

  • Great! Thanks!

Looks like you're in some kind of jungle. Where are you playing that from.

  • i would do it in f just forthe low c! lol

  • Beautiful! This is one of my favorite songs! The rercorder will be one of my next instruments to learn!

  • Nice playing and nice background! I try to introduce E. trads on the tenor recorder.

  • you've got really nice tone there. well played =)
