@justinschmidt1 i cant recall a car that came from the factory with a turbocharged V8(American).. only supercharged V8s.. theres a reason behind that. I know that in the long run turbochargers do put out more power but not for a 1/4

@FordGTmustang2000 Coming from someone with a supercharged mustang, you are wrong man. A proper turbo setup will be more efficient and make more power than a supercharged setup, especially on a v8. The only reason top fuel drag cars use superchargers is because they are simple...they tear these motors apart after every pass.

@FordGTmustang2000 That would be the case if there was a 70mm turbo on a 1.6l honda, but these cobras have the displacement to not have much lag at all, even supra guys are running these same sized turbos and do just fine in the 1/4. Turbos are more efficient nowdays and all the technology of 2 step & antilag, lag is pretty much a thing of the past, for v8's especially.

@FordGTmustang2000 sort of superchargers take horsepower to make the rotors spin. with turbos most people 2 step turbo that makes it spool up before you launch... i guess you could say you got owned.
