It's a horrible feeling when your skis get airborne without your consent! Skiing in a whiteout once I lost sight of where the ground ended and the sky began and took off to a wonderful crash! Not half of the downhill speeds luckily!

2) Of course I know that popping out or not is a joint function of DIN setting, and force of the crash.
3) I know a lot more than you about skiing- I could name all of the athletes and courses in this video, and ski race in K2 for the National Ski Academy, and Ontario Ski Cross. I also cat ski at Island Lake catskiing.
